I need something for a 302 that will allow a clutch cable to be used.

I have hooker comps right now but tube 5 and 6 go down and stay inside toward the engine block. Getting in the way of the cable

Nothing works properly for this. Several companies make claims, but none clear the cable without it touching/burning. I bought the 800 dollar JBA special headers for this same app and they hit the cable and the pitman arm. I have the headers you need, new in the box, used for the same thing. They hit the cable and thats why they're not on my car.

Shorty headers for early model may work better. I haven't tried them personally.

I have a set of Nickel Plated Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers that worked on my 67 fastback with a cable clutch setup. PM me if you're interested.
