Maier Racing Wide Body 88 GT, Black exterior, Gray interior, I remember it being an an original red car but Bill Maier told me it was an original white car, 5 speed, very low miles, 46K miles, barely driven, Salvaged Title, Bilsteins struts and shocks, Maier Springs, Maier roll bar,Maxium Motorsport Camber Caster plates, Maier subframe connectors, HRE 16x10 all the way around, 5 lug, this is the Mustang that you see with the big ass ugly wing that sits at Maier Racing. Maier Racing called me today and asked me to help them sell it. This was the shop car, to show products and to get Bill Maier his donuts in the morning, otherwise it just sat at the shop, $3000 SOLD

When I worked there that wing was the joke at the shop, but you couldnt tell Bill Maier that. I drove this Mustang back in the early 90s and where ever I went with it people would be like WTF is that.

This is a runner and a driver?
If so, smoking fucking deal! Really good deal as a roller!
I can picture the car with some modern CCW type wheels filling up those HUGE flares. It would look like a frickin' steamroller out back!

Yes, it runs and drives, it is a Salvaged Title, and it was bought wrecked in 1990, its not perfect and its got that ugly wing, so we thought $3000FIRM was a fair price, also those are 16x10 HRE werent cheap, but were bought back in early 90s and I would say a little out dated.

Thats a smoking fuckin deal right there! All tha custom body work, wheels, and suspension make it a deal itself...plus it's drivable so even better! If I had the extra cash and parking I'd be all over it!!!

What would you do? Store it for an other 20yrs and maybe go up in value or change the front and rear bumper covers and wing. If change it, what would it be changed to. It's a unique car and may be worth alot usually after someone passes.

At the risk of being made to look like a fool, I know the wing is less than pleasing, but wouldn't it be a shame to sperate car and spoiler seeing as how the two seem to hold a great deal of history and customization. IMO, in it's own way it's kind of cool. If I could spend the money I would. Hope it finds a good home

LOL, yeah there is a lot of history with this Mustang, when Mike Maier was 14-15 years old, he took this Mustang for a joy ride, lost it and jumped a curb. Also this is one of the first Mustangs that he put a cage in.

Corrections its a 1988 and it does have mass air. I got asked a few times if the engine compartment is painted, and yes it was painted black, so was the door jams. It still has the stock radio but it does have a cracked windshield.
