42 and the 39s are pretty much the same. The 39 is just a more common injector and for blower kits, the smallest they recommend. I may be wrong so if someone knows something else please chime in

39's are OE on the 03/04 cobras. If you run 42's the car will need to be tuned for them on the dyno or with a SCT/Diablo/Sniper etc..
