Hopefully I am not committing a sin by posting a Japanese car for trade here. But, I figure a fast car is a fast car, right?

 -

It is very rare to see a turbocharged Integra that is completely CA smog legal, as it is REALLY hard to pull off. In fact, I don't personally know anyone else with a smog legal turbo honda around here. You don't have to swap out any parts or do anything to get it to pass smog, it passes just fine as is.

Well over $15k has been invested in this car for parts, labor, tuning. It has a fresh paintjob (R34 Skyline Bayside Blue) and a LONG list of mods. It was recently tuned at Evil Genius Racing in West Sac. Just barely finished the car so it hasn't had time to be abused. It's only running 5psi at the moment, probably would pull 230-250hp on a dynojet, which is plenty fast for me considering how light this car is, but if you wanted to you could safely crank it up to 8-10psi and probably make ~300hp+. If you strengthened the bottom end 400hp+ would be easily attainable.

The cool thing about this car is you can get 30mpg with normal driving. For more information check out my ebay ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110562977914

Looking to trade for a very clean '87-'93 5.0 fox or a '99-'04 4.6. Preferably with a good amount of mods already since I am giving up a really fast car myself. Please PM offers or give me a call/text at 916TwoSixSevenFourTwoTwoThree.

Thanks.

Tony

Thats a pretty clean Integra. The color is nice, I would've left the stock body parts, but overall still a nice car. Sounds like it makes good power too. What shop did the dyno tuning?

Good luck with the sale or trade, but you most likely won't have much luck on this site unfortunately... Lots of close minded people on here, I personally respect anything thats fast though...

Yeah, previous owner put on the bodykit. Wasn't crazy about it at first but it grew on me. I had the rear spoiler removed when I had it painted and I think that cleaned it up and balanced it out. Also, the intercooler is out of an Evo and is so big that not many bumpers would fit it.

This is what it looked like when I got it:

This is a few more shots after it was painted:

I spent a long time picking out the perfect color. Finally I settled on R34 Skyline Bayside Blue (TV2) and I feel it was a great decision. It's a gorgeous color and it really comes to life in the sunlight.

The dyno tuning was done in West Sac at Evil Genius Racing http://www.evilgeniusracing.com/

You can see a video clip of the tuning here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO1ix90asog

I agree, definitely a gorgeous color. What happened to the door molding, I see it was on the car before paint?

Sharp eye, of everyone who has called me or come to look at it you are the first person to ask about the moldings without me pointing it out. They were removed when painted and the guy who painted my car said that once you take them off they never go on quite right again and so he ordered me some new ones. They're already painted and ready to be slapped on, in fact, I was supposed to have them put on today but was too busy. I'll probably get it done tomorrow, though, he's usually at the shop on the weekends.

Well, the car looks clean, & I hope you get what you are looking for.

On a side note, I would love to give it a friendly run in my H/C/I 91, haven't ever really got to race any fast imports yet...

I actually JUST finished up the car. Never raced it. Worried about tarnishing my perfect DMV record and when you dump your entire life savings into a car you tend to baby it. But, I've been interested in how well this thing would hang with a stout Mustang. Maybe we can set something up, shoot me a PM.

The issue with fast FWD imports at the track, is getting them to hook. I rarely see them hook at the track.

Gives me a unfair advantage. Lol. Since Im not pushing 300 HP. That's a nice import though. I like it a lot. Awesome color.

Yeeeaah thats tight! I like it!

Thanks for the complements, guys. Means a lot coming from a Ford web site. I know before I owned an import I talked a lot of trash about them. Since owning this car, I see that they are actually capable of being extremely fun/fast cars with the right modifications. The problem is 99% of guys around here with japanese cars are far more worried about the way their car looks, and never get past a cold air intake and fart pipe, so there aren't many fast Hondas out there.

I will probably regret getting rid of this car. I dumped crazy money into it, and it will probably be the fastest car I will ever own that still makes 30mpg. When gas shoots up to $5 again I will probably punch myself in the face for getting rid of it.

I like imports. Integras are tight! I had a 96 4 door GSR a few years ago. That thing was pretty quick stock for a little 4 banger. Was my favorite daily driver so far. I was lookin for another one, but most of em u see nowadays are pretty beat up & theft recovery salvage titles. So I ended up in another Civic for my daily...
U got a nice Integra there. I like the stock body better, but I guess u gotta do what u gotta do when installing that EVO intercooler in there! Color is sick, & yes, u need to put the door moldings on...
Any engine & interior shots? GLW the trade

You're exactly right. When you find a clean Integra, they go for quite a bit of money. There is a dealership next to my house that has two of them with >100k miles and they're asking $8k a piece, neither are even GSRs. On CL a clean GSR still will go for over $6k, which is WAY above blue book. Whenever I've gone to look at one that was less than $6k, they were always beat to shit, bondo'd, etc.

It actually takes bumps pretty well. I just go slow, not sideways or anything.

I don't consider going from a Mustang to a Turbocharged Integra a "downgrade". Honestly this car will smoke most of the V8 Mustangs in town no problem. Mustangs are rated over 200hp from the factory, but that's bhp, not whp, big difference, and they are heavier. Next week I will probably crank the boost and have it re-tuned as well, as it is right now it is at the lowest PSI setting possible running a conservative tune. Oh, and did I mention that this thing takes turns like it's on rails?

Plus I can get 30mpg, plus insurance is only $40/month for me. On top of the the paintjob on this car alone cost me more than a lot of guys on this forum paid for their entire car.

I love any car that's fast and/or handles well. If you don't like imports, that's fine, but you don't have to go around crapping in other people's threads.

let the man sell his car, he didn't come on here saying "here's my super sick integra shitting on all the mustangs", he just wants to make a comparable trade. good luck and ttt.

Did that expensive earl paint job include the price of that bodykit...and last time I checked this wasnt craigslist or stolofinder...

Obviously I wasn't talking about a "stock bucket ass 5.0". Those cars would put 200hp to the wheels, maybe, on a good day, and are a hell of a lot heavier. On top of that, they can barely get out of their own way at higher speeds.

I'm not trying to trash talk Mustangs, I love them, I've personally owned 5 myself. I love the way they look and sound, but lets face it, they aren't fast cars out of the box and they are far from handling well. A GSR isn't fast either, but nobody expects them to be with only half the cylinders and just over a third of the displacement of a V8 mustang. The fact that this car can put 300hp to the wheels without any further engine mods is pretty impressive. It would take a lot of mods and a good chunk of money to get a big V8 Mustang to put down that kind of power to the wheels. Even then it will still be a lot slower given the weight disadvantage and will still need a lot of $$$ to handle anywhere close to this car. You'd also probably have to swap out the exhaust every two years and you can forget about finding/building a smog-legal turbo kit.

Plus, once gas goes back up to $5+, which is only a matter of time, the majority of Mustang owners probably will barely be able to afford to drive their cars. I'm far from "rich", but obviously this isn't a problem for me considering I dumped $15k into this car in the past few months and if I don't trade my Integra soon I will just buy another Mustang and start building it up, doesn't really matter to me.

I took a stock engine stock heads stock cam. Trickflow manifold off road H and 150 shot.12.2 @ 114. It was so hard to make 362 HP and 531 tq.

your basic H/I/C combo can lay down about 300 rwhp. not bad for about 2 grand. foxbody mustangs are easily the cheapest car out there to mod and put down good numbers. best bang for the buck

That 15K is a lot more than just hp upgrades. I'm not someone who is impressed with a car that can only go fast in a straight line.

The price difference wouldn't be huge to take a a stock Mustang and get it to go as fast and handle as well as this car and slap a $3.2k paintjob on it. Then it will still guzzle gas and cost double every year in insurance. So really, if you know what you are doing, the price difference isn't that big.

Adam is correct. I got some trickflow heads for swapping a 98 cobra engine got a crane cam and I really was suprised what I was missing.

I agree, the 5.0 fox is the best bang for your buck, but only if you want to go as fast as possible from a stop in a straight line. But, once you hop of the freeway and try to race an LS1, high revving import, or a similarly modded 4.6, you will be destroyed. And if you are on a track with turns you can forget about it unless you spent a big wad of dough into your suspension.

In my opinion, foxes make up for these shortcomings with their sound.

The only people I seen crying when I was filling up my 5 dollar was tree hugging Fag loving prius drivers. Cuz it didn't matter a shit to me. And my solution to saving gas was buying a supercharged regal gs.

He's not on here saying his Integra is sh#ttin on all Stangs, & if he's been a member here since 2002, he's obviously not here to troll. Why even get in thread unless you have something positive to say, or you are interested in the car...

Anyhow, good luck BalZahk...Told you this would bring out the haters...

Add 7 pounds of boost and you can handle just about anything on the road. I will give you that mustangs arent the best handling cars out there, but mostly every car is gonna have some short falls. with the huge aftermarket out there you can get these 20+ year old cars to handle quite well. BTW I'm not hating on your car, mustangs were built for straight line speed. alot of the imports are more well rounded cars in terms of handling and braking. It all really depends on what your looking for. FIN GLWS
