I've got a Taurus fan mounted in a stock 5.0 shroud with a thermostatically controlled switch, all relays, etc. It's totally custom, but it's plug and play...$100.

The Taurus fan worked great. I don't remember the specifics, but I spec'd everything (the switch, relay, and thermostat) off of Luke87GT's old website for his white notch. I am including the fan, the switch in a custom water neck, the thermostat, and all the wiring. I let my car sit and idle at the smog place for over an hour on a 90+ degree day and it didn't overheat.

so i take it the stock fans on 5.0's suck?i got a 93 tbird 5.0 that overheats i have no leaks and all cooling parts are new my clutch fan is good too. would that solve the problem if i bought an electric fan or upgraded to bigger fan?
