long story short i bought a 90 mustang LX from a lil leprechan that said there was nothing wrong with the car motor only had 8k miles ROSS pistons blah blah blah i believed him and must have sucked some fucking metal eating termites in the motor on the way back to the shop cuz theres part of a piston missing and ROSS has there head up there ass cant recognize there own pistons if i threw it thru there window

all drama aside i need some GOOD pistons with no magical metal eating termites i dont really care hi or low compression just have to be .030 for a 347 , thanks.

KB forged .030 over 347 pistons(new)
These are for a project that never happened.
They are new and still in the box.

The specs are:

Bore
4.030

Stroke
3.4

Rod length
5.4

Comp/Ht
1.090

CR/58cc
9.6

CR/64cc
9.0

CR/69cc
8.6

They come with a -16.5 step dish.

Here's where I purchased them: http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/produ...D=12845&CtgID=
The link has the rest of the specs.

I would do $375 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48

that sucks man and its always a chance u take when u buy any used car especially ones that are highly modified.
the car has been owned by several ppl on the board and was believed to be a legit setup that put down good/legit numbers and time slips.
so how u figure the car was put together in the dark from what u saw when the motor was torn apart?
was this car bought blindly and not test driven to see if there were issues w/ the motor if in fact that was true at the time of the sale?
hopefully it doesnt cost too much to fix it up.
i know for a fact the previous owner barely drove the car...havent even seen it myself and definitely it never saw the track in his possession or was driven hard.

damn, i went 11.3 on 7.5 pistons! Think of how fast it would have gone on 8! Post pics when you get a chance. I'll be on the lookout for new pistons.

Just throw some CHP pistons in there and then have it rebalanced. Done deal under 700 bux.

Or, take the best one of your old ones...have it weighed...and get a piston as close, but over your old weight. You can do the rest.

John built one of my motors also. I never had a problem with it but it was sold after about 2k miles.
That sucks though I have some pistons but only got 7 lol
