how much for the whole turbo kit? 510-690-5327 thanks

Posted by SPTVENM (Member # 7080) on :

why not fix it? just needs like a new bumper, and fenders, maybe hood.

Posted by racsirx (Member # 1710) on :

Well, I am going to hold off on parting it out, so far I have 3 offers for the whole Coupe, I could fix it but I think I would rather put the money and time into my GT, it will need fenders, front nose, some apron and upper & lower radiator support work, hood will need a little work, the intercooler and radiator and fan are destroyed, front two wheels are also bent.

Keep it and fix it Lee!!!

This would be the perfect time to pull some more weight out of that thing!

Congrats on the numbers though!

Sorry to see this happen, but at least you are ok.

Give it a few days, look the car over good, and give it some thought before you sell it.

DAMN Lee. I was talking to freind earlier that was at the track and he said something about a Mustang that hit the wall. He said it was Burgandy so I never even thought it was your car. Sorry to hear about this and glad you are ok

Well, it seems alot of people are trying to find ways for me to keep and fix it, HaulassMaro has offered FREE parts to fix it. I am undecided right now, I had plans to finish my 800HP GT this year. So far the original owner, who will coming from Florida, has dibs on the roller.

Dam Lee Im glad you are alright, Fix it you know its cheeper to fix it than let it go, you know you will never get what you put in to it.

Posted by fasthatch (Member # 7277) on :

i give guys a hit if the car was in the condation it was when it went to the track it would be 13 to 15k car

Posted by 1 Bad Stang (Member # 9592) on :

I don't know you but I wouldn't sell the car just because a couple small problems like that. You can keep this, fix up the gt then when you're done with that come back to this. Just another idea [patriot]

Posted by 2Foxes2Five0Coupes (Member # 9154) on :

Fix that! Looks like you got a lot of people looking out for you. Sorry to see/hear about this GL with it... That GT is SUPER clean!

Posted by racsirx (Member # 1710) on :

Well, my GT has been put off for years, due life and responsibilities. I built the Coupe not caring about the scratches and blemishes, its a race car, but on the GT, I was building it like a show car, which takes more time and patience, which I havent had time for. But since I am not working as much as before I was going to work on this year.

Also special thanks Topnotch for offering some FREE parts to fix the Coupe, seems people are really trying to help me keep it.

I also I have got a few PMs and Voice mails asking if I am OK, I am OK, I feel better than when I got hit by the drunk driver last year, just taking it easy, I am just pissed that the Coupe is wrecked.

Posted by TOPnotch (Member # 1340) on :

Its just a car lee, it could have been much worse!!!

Let me know when you want to come grab those parts!

Posted by Notch1320 (Member # 2647) on :

Lee, I bet you would be even more pissed off if it happened to the GT.

More people should build cars like this! It is a race car... not a show car. Mine falls under this same mentality. All the little imperfections fade away with the low ET.(In most cases)It sure seems like you enjoyed this car and the persuit of that first 9 second pass, and even futher now.

I hope to see you back out in it Lee!

Dump the notch. Put the running gear in another roller. Glad you are OK Lee.

"How much for the lower radiator hose?
The one with the 'speed hole' in it...." That was cold Shaun:-)

I'd fix it! Espeacially if the doors open and close okay. Looks very repairable. BTW, Very impressive numbers and track et's with a stock block [worship]

Posted by foxstang (Member # 7447) on :

Glad you are ok but I had heard you were 5 mins after it happened. Didnt want to call and bother you during that time.

I need one rear shock and 5 lug nuts tho if you part it out.

heheee

j/k Lee

That GT is as purty as it was 10 years ago.

Posted by racsirx (Member # 1710) on :

Well, I am still debating on what to do, as of right now I am going to start to fix it, since a few people offered some serious help, I am going to see how far I can go on fixing it, before I say its not worth dealing with, parts list keeps getting bigger daily.
