EBAY AUCTION
This is a 2001 Mustang GT with nearly every performance part you can buy. All of the performance parts have 3k miles on them. The car has never been down the track with this setup so I don't know what it runs. I was told that this car with a good driver should be in the mid to high 10's. The motor is a 5.1L Scat rotating assembly with .020 oversized -21.2cc piston housed in a Windsor 4.6L modular block which is a MUCH stronger unit then the Romeo that came in the car from the factory. The main studs and rod bolts are made by ARP, the oil pump is a Ford Racing Cobra pump with a much larger diameter pickup tube along with a higher volume flow rate. The oil is housed in a Canton road race pan which holds 8 quarts instead of the normal 5 quarts. Splashing is reduced by the Canton windage tray, and both are sealed by Felpro gaskets. The head gaskets are stock thickness and are Felpro MLS, they are held down by ARP head studs. The heads are Patriot stage 2 made for the Romeo block, they have better cam supports and deeper spark plug treads then the Windsor heads. The heads have flat faced oversized valves, Comp Cams and valve springs. The intake manifold is a Performance Products unit along with the throttle body and plenum. All three of these have been gone though, deburred, port matched, and polished. The supercharger head unit is a V2 S-Trim made by Vortech running at 13.5lbs of boost, the rubber boots have been replaced with reinforced silicone boots and T-Bolt clamps. Pressure in the system is released by a Vortech MaxFlow Bypass Valve that recirculates back into the custom built power pipe through a 1.5in rubber hose. The air coming through the power pipe is monitored by an SCT 2800 MASS airflow sensor that is fed by an AEM TruFlow oil-less filter. The aftercooler kit is a Vortech air to water that has all upgraded components. The standard water pump has been replaced with a Ford Racing SVT unit, and the intercooler is over three times the size of the unit included with this kit. The fuel is delivered out of its factory Ford tank that houses dual Lincoln Aviator pumps attached to a PPRV deleted 03 Cobra fuel hat. The system is managed by a Lethal Performance stage 2+ fuel computer. The fuel is delivered into the engine through the Deka Siemens 60lb injectors. The exhaust leaves the engine out of a set of JBA smog legal shorty headers, a Pypes catted X-pipe, and a pair of MagnaFlow MagnaPack mufflers. This has an 03 Cobra aluminum flywheel held on by ARP flywheel bolts and a Centerforce dual friction clutch which is shifted through a TR3650 5spd tranny. The transmission is original and does not grind or make any noises. The syncros work great in all the gears, nor does it pop out of any gear. The power is delivered through a Ford Racing Aluminum driveline into its stock rear housing that holds its 3:73 gears, 31 spline Trac Loc differential, Moser hardened axles, and extended studs. The tuner is made by SCT and comes loaded with 2 different fuel maps, one is a 91 Octane tune, the other is a Race fuel tune. The car on 91 Octane puts down 526hp and 470tq with Maxed out fuel pumps. The car was tuned at Advanced Engine Development in Cameron Park, Ca. The car can make more power with its current setup if the fuel pumps are upgraded. I would suggest the new owner upgrades to twin Ford GT pumps, and a Kenny Bell Boost-A-Pump. Ever since the fuel pumps were installed the fuel tank can't be filled more then 3/4 of a tank without leaking. The battery has been relocated into the trunk with a Summit battery relocation kit and has a Taylor battery switch that sits in place of the rear lock cylinder. The trunk can be opened by either the key fob or the button located in the glove compartment.
When I purchased this car it had a tan interior, it since has been completely changed to Dark Charcoal grey. The Airbags were removed from a Cobra, along with several other items. The rear seat delete is custom and weighs under 2 lbs. The factory Mach 460 stereo sounds great and the 6 disk in dash changer works very well, but does get the occasional CD stuck while ejecting. The Air Conditioning is very cold and works flawlessly.
The tubular K member, adjustable control arms, coilover kit, and 200lb springs are made by QA1. The struts are 10 way adjustable built by Strange and the 4 bolt Camber Plates are from Granatelli. The rear suspension is completely stock, the subframe connectors are custom built out of 2x3 rectangular metal and are through the floor, they go all the way from the firewall to the rear control arms. The wheels are Weld ProStar's, the fronts are 15x5's with 195/60/15 tires, the rears are 15x8's and the tires are Mickey Thompson Drag 28x10.5x15's. Most of the car's sound deadening has been removed, along with the other weight reducing items the car's weight now is 3150lbs.
The Body is in excellent condition, the hood is a Harwood 2.5in Cowl, the drivers side quarter panel has a few door dings. The glass is completely flawless with a brand new windshield. The tail lights have been tinted and have the sequential flashers.
The only vehicle that I would be willing to do a partial trade on is a 1998+ Dodge Dually 3500 Cummins extra cab with either a 5 or 6spd manual, nothing else.
Below is a complete list of parts on the car, these do not include any labor, only parts. As you can see this car has a ridiculous amount of money into it. If you are looking for something that is pretty quick and have never had a fast car before this IS NOT THE CAR FOR YOU! This car is not to be taken lightly, this is a seriously fast car and should only be driven by an experienced driver. This car has a clean/clear California title and is registered until next year. The buyer will be responsible for smog. If you are seriously interested PM me.
