Yes, they do have an insert. I know of 3 original 93 Cobra's right now and all have an insert.

you should post a picture of the bumper and somewhere there should be a FORD stamp on the bumper if its original...

For those that don't know, 93 cobras came with front clips that had no Ford logo and had a hole in the front with an open decorative trim piece sporting a running horse logo.

The 93 Cobra's had a GT front bumper with the insert added, its a Ford bumper. Since all my friends have fake Cobra's with Cervini's cutouts and I don't know what I'm talking about maybe someone who has a real 93 Cobra can chime in with what they have.

Off topic, anyone seen my 95 V6 that was painted with the Kragen color changing paint and I tell everyone its a Mystic Cobra? [Roll Eyes]
