if they are drag shocks/struts then they will have a 90/10, 70/30, or 50/50 rates on them..a part number should work to look them up for the rates.. makes them spring up faster but come back down slower!

takin from their website hope it helps the wondering minds

Edelbrock IAS shocks deliver incredibly responsive handling around tight turns and dramatically reduce body roll for a comfortable ride with outstanding vehicle control. Manufactured by Edelbrock in the USA, these are the only automotive shocks that incorporate the patented Ricor Inertia Active System. This unique valve design senses changes in terrain and adjusts instantly for a better ride than you ever thought possible.

Now available for a wide variety of cars, there are two styles of Edelbrock shocks with the Inertia Active Systems (IAS). Choose the one that fits your needs? Performer IAS shocks were the first to include the Inertia Active System. They have a distinctive red powder-coated finish. Classic IAS shocks have the same features as the Performer IAS line but with a gunmetal gray powder coated finish and classic Edelbrock logo. Available for AMC, Ford, GM and Mopar muscle cars.
