For the prices I see fox's going for nowadays, $2600 is more than fair for a clean, straight, unmolested hatch, even if it is an auto....have you checked on Fox prices in the last year????

$2500 is what it is worth, i've seen it in person. the pictures look good but it has a lot of scratches and some dents on it. i think $2500 for the car with the ponies and cold air intake is worth it. without ponies and cold air intake $2200

And PJ shouldn't get butt hurt about the offers. Everything you guys mentioned happens as a normal part of selling used cars. And I am not a english professor, but I swear the spelling and grammar here can be off-the -hook sometimes. It was painful reading that post 91650.

All car owners exaggerate a little and all buyers want to save a few bucks.

PJ it was kinda weak for you to RANT about lowball offers. Like I said if the excuses are weak then by all means rant away. But the offers are what that persons sees the value as, plain and simple. Shit I kinda want to see the car myself now, just because all the drama behind it.

plain and simple. if the price isnt worth what you'd consider paying for the car, move on and look at the next car. there are plenty of junkers on CL that fit the $2200 price tag.
the owner is entitled to list the car at whatever price he want which may or not be worht it to you.

this is partly why i list stuff firm, so it cuts out the low ball offers

I based my price on mainly two cars I've seen.one was a hatch EXACTLY like mine,but a 5 speed.same condition.same interior.he sold his for $3400..then I went to the track and talked to a stang driver with a hatch 5 speedmissing interior front end damage two different colors,5 speed that he bought for $1800..

For what it is worth, I know stangs and I think it is worth it. Can you luck up and get a better deal? Of course. But clean titled, non-modded stangs are getting rare. PJ stick to your guns on your price. Just dont get bothered when you get lowballed.
