my friend wants to buy one off someone at his work and just wondering what the going rate is?

if he's really your friend, tell him not to buy it because they're junk.

just junkyard a 2spd taurus or mark8 fan for $20 and install it with a 60amp relay, way better cooling and the relay wont die every 3 months.

i'll check that out. how easy are they going to be to mount? cause the radiator its going to go on is small.

Nothing, a Taurus or Mark VIII is $27 from the yard and flows more.

Agreed. The Black Magic is the biggest piece of crap. I bought one for $60 thinking it would be decent since my 5.0 was stock at the time. I had it on there for 3 months, then the weather started getting hot. I started overheating big time stuck in traffic. I went back to the clutch fan and never had the problem again.

his main concerns are flow, amperage draw and install(this is going in a early 60's mustang) i think the mark 8 fans are built into the shrouds? and if so they will be way too wide!
