Did you catch the 650 double pumper in the ad? It was most likely a 4 cyl they did a 5.0 swap on but went with a carb instead of fuel injection. With all the smog nazi cops out there chances are you'll end up at the ref in no time.

It makes me wonder how many corners they cut if it is a swap, I've seen some serious hack jobs in the past.... too bad, it could have been worth quite a bit if it was done right.

ive seen this car on cl b4 dude tried to pass it off as a 88 but in 1 of the pics u see a pre 87

Yep, I looked again and saw the 85-86 GT style headrest on the pass side. So then most likely it was a factory 5.0 car, just an early carb model. It looks clean though.

guess those deals are long gone

on a side note will a 1989 car be considered a classic next year?
