I am not an active member on this site, but I was referred to it after a man from California ripped me off on SVTPerformance.com - another Mustang board. I am a very active member on SVTPerformance with right around 1,000 posts and (33) trader feedback.

On September 25th, I send $566 to Josh Courtway ("64VALVES" on SVTPerformance) for these stock 03-04 Cobra parts parts he was selling... Eaton with pulley, throttle body and plenum, injectors, mass air flow sensor, and heat exchanger. He and I exchanged several Private Messages in which we came up with an agreement on how much he would sell me the parts for.

After I paid him, he sent me a private message saying that he would ship out the parts by Friday, that would be 09-28-07. On 10-02-07 he sent me another message saying that he had been super busy and the parts would be shipped tomorrow or the next day. This was the last time I have heard from him. I have sent him 6-7 messages asking if the parts had been shipped. He didn't respond to any of them. On 10-12-07 I filed a complaint with Paypal telling them that I thought he was ripping me off. Paypal didn't find that there was enough evidence to start a case against him, so they closed the dispute immediately. I have not heard from him since any of this happened.

If any of you guys know Josh or have any other ideas on how I can get my money back, I would appreciate it. He posts quite a bit on here, so I thought someone may know him. Here is the info I have on him...

I am a little lost the original complaint was over a 30$ pony and now it has escalated to another person over 500+. WEll it goes to show like someone said if you won't care about your reputatiotn over 30$ what would you care about.Another reason why the "I'll ship after payment" always freaks me out. 0.02$. I do really think it is cool that the mods said they would help the 30 buck guy out. Very cool Ca Fords I might just have to come out to one of these events and buy a sticker or something

Its obvious this thread isn't doing anyone any good. Just lock it, let it die and let lessons be learned. If nothing was done by now its not going to change by dragging this back up. Honestly, I hate seeing people get ripped off but this isn't going to fix it. I got taken on a motor a while back, made my post about it but after pages of BS and numerous PM's saying it would be taken car of I got NOTHING. Every single thread I've seen where this happens people argue and in the long run nothing gets solved. Everyone has their own take on Josh now, let the thread die.
