A coupe is a coupe, or notchback.

The so called "CHP" that everyone here is after is basically a beat on car with a bunch of holes in the dash, spotlights usually, and the trunk button relocated to the drivers side. Some may have had reinforced floor pans so I have heard. Why people are after these is beyond me! Most of them are beat more than a rental.

There are also cars called SSP, "Special Service Package". California wasn't the only state to use mustangs as patrol cars either.

Call it what it is!

yes i know Ford made notchbacks that were modified for the Highway Patrol for most states in the US. Ford didnt make a specific body just for the Highway Patrol.
