Not being rude but if you want to sell it you'll probably have to come way down on that price for a bone stock, 120,000 mile 18 yr old car

I agree completley but at 120,000 k your prolly not going to get serious about horsepower or any kind of power adder... so if you're going to strip it and start a build up( at least clutch, rings, bearings ect.) thats alot to pay for a clean chassis

Sounds like a good deal if its really clean. Most guys want a clean platform to start with so that they can make there own ride. 120K on a 1989 Mustang that is 18yrs old car is nothing to cry about. These motors are very strong and last way beyond 120K if kept up right. Consider your motor broken in once it reaches 100K. There are plenty of guys running NOS or SC's on healthy motors with more mileage. Good luck with the sale

Stock mustangs sell the fastest. Most people dont like dumped stock exhaust, surging idle, inability to pass smog, and cut coils on a 14 second car. Mileage is pretty irrelevant on foxbodys. 119,000 is not high for one. The prices go up and down every few months anyways. So it wll sell for close to 4 at least if its as stated. %99 of foxbodys are complete pieces of shit and thats why the owners have to settle for a lower price.

i see there are some people in here that dont know much about mustangs, a mustang that hasnt been touched is the best mustang to buy, because you can put your own signature on the car. thats why i bought it. i have 3 other mustangs before this one and i can see its time for me to graduate to a 2000 mustang

I agree about an untouched car, that's the way I like to buy my muscle cars, and yes 120,000 isn't much on a car you're going to drive as is. I just prefer building my cars from the ground up if I'm going to do it right and that sounded like alot of money when you consider the kind of cars that are out there in that price range. That said I hope he get's his price it's just hard for me to understand in a world where there are thousands of clean mustangs for sale everyday at 2/3rds that price. and as far as not knowing about stangs I have had several including an 01 gt and, the 89 hatch I have now I paid a hundred dollars for with a clean pink.
