Whats the first 4 digits on the block located where the starter would go???

On these windsor motors simply taking off the intake won't dictate if it's a roller block or not.

FOAE are the first four digits.

Yup not a roller.

F4TE would be what to look for.

Check the one in your truck some 93's came with them.

I guess later build date 93 had them, my truck doesnt but no matter what my block is broken anyway so I need to replace it.

what 93 trucks came with a roller? I thought 95 was the first year roller cams were used in the trucks, hence the F4TE that we are all familiar with.

Most trucks with a mid to late 93 build date have the roller motor.
