wow. you spent over $20,000 building your car? do a little bragging here and tell us all how much money you spent on each major catagory (ie: engine, cooling system, drivetrain, body, paint, interior, safety equipment).

Don't know anyone on the thread....but here is my 2 cents:

1. Car sounds solid and easily could/should/would run the 10.60 n/a that owner claims of it.
2. Buddy of mine in TX with very similar combo with less compression on drag radials is going 10.50s - 3100 race weight.
3. Buddy of mine in FL with very similar combo, 12:1, slicks...going 10.40s - 3000lb race weight.
4. Salvage doesn't really matter on a drag car.
5. Whether dude paid 20k or has 20k in 'value' doesn't matter.

I got my racecar for free - roller w/ cage and all of the suspension, wheels, and tires off of another roller for $900 which I then sold for $1500. 2 months into the project and I was profitable by $600...doesn't matter how you got it or what you paid for it...it is all about what it is worth.

stangsally, I think your setting yourself up by posting a car like this on cafords.

There is a common trend on CAFORDS I've noticed over the years when it comes to cars being sold here. The amount of haters that come out of their holes is directly proportional to a.) how fast the car is and b.) how expensive the price is

Delete this post, and post the car in the corral, CL, and ebay and be done with it.
