Selling a 1989 Mustang GT, automatic. Painted BMW gray not so long ago.. original color is gray. Sounds different from other 5.0s.. almost exotic pitch with sweet rumble, have to hear! Has a few problems here and there, but what 5.0 doesnt? A lot of the parts are new or like new. Oil changed, tranny fluid changed, gear oil changed about 2 months ago. Probably one of the cleanest daily driven 5.0's around here. Drive it 45 miles round trip to school and back 4x a week and a lot of cruizing on weekends with no problems. Mods are listed below. Reason for selling is I need a work truck and I dont have room at my place for another vehicle. Willing to trade for a extended cab V6 s10/sonoma in good condition or something similar. Best to leave me an email with questions or give me a call if really interested @ (510) 415-0999.

Engine
- 70k since rebuilt (Odometer reads about 117,xxx)
- Brodix aluminum heads
- Cobra intake
- BBK cold air intake
- 1.6 roller rockers
- 24 lb. injectors
- 255 fuel pump
- crane 3060 cam
- 65mm throttle body
- 130 amp alternator
- Rebuilt starter
- Edelbrock waterpump
- Oversized radiator
- Black magic electric fan (new)
- Ford racing wires (new)
- Msd cap(new)
- FMS blue wires (new)
- FMS headers, Bassani catted xpipes, MAC turndown mufflers w/ 3 inch tubings (sounds amazing)
- FMS 3.73 gears
- To-go shift kit
- New motor and transmission mounts

Body
- Saleen wing
- New headlights with blue bulbs
- LX taillights
- Subframe connectors
- BBK strut tower bar (new)

Suspension
- FMS lowering springs
- 18x8 cobras, tires still good
- koni shocks
- FMS? caster camber kit (new)
- Steeda bump steer kit (new)
- Control arm bushings, rack and pinion bushings, etc all replaced recently

Interior
- Grant steering wheel (new)
- Autometer guages: oil pressure, voltage, temperature (new)
- B&M hammer shifter (new)
- Interior is nice for a 10+ year old car.. small hole in drivers seat
- NO RADIO.. all wires are there and ready; just didnt want the car broken into so it doesnt have a radio.. ready to hook up to any kenwood deck.

Problems
- has an idle stutter. jumps up and down a bit around 750rpm-500rpm at times but never dies but a little annoying. EGR valve is sticking shut or could be the fuel pump giving out, most likely the EGR valve tho.
- running a little lean.
speedometer needle acts up like a lot of old 5.0s but gives you an idea of the speed.
- drivers door lock motor is out but you can manually lock car.

Im interested if you still have it. I have been looking for a fox project for sometime now.

Any chance you could PM me the VIN # so I can see the history of the car?
