would I need a different brake booster and master cylinder for this conversion?

Posted by rickm347 (Member # 5323) on :

Nope. I did my car and the brakes work fine. At first I did what someone recommended and that was to gut the proportioning valve so that the fluid would be able to sufficiently operate the rear disc, BUT the rears were getting too much and the fronts werent. So I put a stock proportioning valve back in and it works coo:)

or i can do the set up with dual piston calipers that are still intact with the spindle and control arm and rotor and shocks

*so basically you would disconnect your brake line, nuts holding the shocks in place and the control arm bolts. then put the new set up in place and bleed the brakes and youre good to go [Big Grin] GO 5 LUG!!!!! thanks --rick
