Well fuck man they got another one. A real good friend of mine just called me and woke me up this morning. Some low life piece of shit stole his coupe last night from right out side his front door. But get this here is the real kicker. The car didn't even run. The fuel pump went out last week and the car was sitting until we had some time to put a fuel pump in it. So they must have trailered the car out of there. Everyone be ware this is starting to become some real bullshit. In the last year 4 of my friend cars have been stolen all from the bay area. This is fucken bullshit.

Lock and load boys


1992 lx coupe bright red sitting on some 18x10 and 18x9 black bullit wheels with polished lips. Two tone black and grey racing seats, edelbrock performer intake, E 303 cam, hooker equal length shortie headers, custom x pipe, and boral straight through muflers, cold air intake, aluminum howe radiator with 16" electric fan, sub frame connectors that went through the floor pan, and 355 gears.

That sucks. The east bay is getting really bad. I live in fremont/union city and people ask me all the time why they have not seen my cars or even my jeeps. Well its because I don't even park them at my own house and I live in a good neighborhood too! I don't even feel its safe parking them in the garage. My expensive toys stay gated and secluded in Hillsborough. Really no car theives there!

They must be using a tow truck. Truck and trailer takes a while especially if the car doesn't run. With a tow truck that car can be taken away in less than 2 minutes.

I guess that's why I don't see too many fifties around any more. They are all ripped off. If they want it badly enough, they will take it, no matter where it is parked. Personally, I have a special insurance policy that will cash me out $20k if my car goes AWOL. Another smart move is a Lojack. I know of one guy whose notch was stolen, and 4 guys got busted while they were stripping it thanks to Lojack.

i drive a tow truck and if they have a repo rig they can take it in about 30 seconds they dont even have to get out of the truck they have controls inside truck.lowjack is the way to go and an alarm that pages you that way you can shoot the bastard stealing your car.fucking hate thieves hope you find it in better condition than when mine got stolen.

Yeah it was pretty clean. To be honest with you that car just fell together. The wheels made that car. It had a cheap paint job on it. And a whole bumch of extra parts I hooked him up with. That car was just one of those 5.0 mustangs that just ran hella hard for no reason. Going back to the town today to do some searching. Thanks everyone for the love.

Yeah we went all through oakland on both sides of international. Didn't come up with much. I know a few people that live out there and they gave me some pretty good leads on where I should be looking. But you know every house looks the same. I'll paint you a picture.

3-4 broken shitty looking cars in the street. At least 1 car parked on the lawn, a driveway that goes back along the side of the house farther than the eve can see. With a busted up garage in the back that looks like a perfect place to part out a car. And 2-3 suspects standing on the porch looking at you like who the fuck is this white boy stopped in the street trying to look down my drive way???

And I anit scared they anit the only ones packing!!

Yep we found the shell striped in San Leandro off E14 st and thrush st Across the street from Bay fair mall. They took all the good shit off the car but Its still worth fixing. No body damage of corse missing the engine, trans, exhaust, 5 lug rear end, racing seats, hood, radiator, fan all that shit.

Fuck these people man were gona put this shit back together any help on parts would be greatly appreciated I'll post some pictures of the car and a list of what parts we need. I have a bunch of spare parts I'm going to throw his way, just to get this car back on the road.

That sucks man.... I wouldn't be surprised to find out, that member(s) from the board are involved with these car thefts.

Have you spoken to the police if the plate/vin was run before it was stolen? I would also "snoop" around the local body shops.

I have a stock 4 lug 327 rear end, drum to drum, probably needs to be looked through, not sure if it is in too bad of shape, I am in CV, sucks to see such a clean car have to go through that shiet. Also the owner is a cool cat, I am sure he will get this thing back on the road in no time.

Yep I know this sounds really hard to believe but we did. I had a really good lead from a friend of mine whose name I won't mention. Went to these fools house there were 4 mustangs parked in the driveway. We showed up pretty deep and they wern't home. Started poen hoods and wouldn't you know it there was the engine installed in a 86 coupe allready. Walked through the back fence and there was the complete exhaust system. We waited for them to come back when the pulled in the driveway my boy blocked their ttruck in and we told them that we just wanted our shit back. We wouldn't call the police if they just gave us our shit back. We had to play cool because the majority of the parts wern't there yet. Just the engine and exhaust system. Fuck I can go on and on about this because we were there all day. The owner of the car said he would go get all of our parts if we didn't call the police. So we sat there and waited while he had to make 3 trips to pick up all the parts. He had them scattered around the whole bay area. Bottom line is we found them and got everything back. And I mean everything engine, trans, interior, wheels rear end radiator beat, we got it all back.

I know who all the people involved are. I won't name names but if you wan't more info pm me and I'll fill you in. Lets just put it this way you have probably seen their cars at the street races before

Well heres the thing when we found the engine in this guys car. If we would have called the cops the only thing they could have got them for was possetion of stolen property. Not even a big deal. Just a slap on the hand. And maybe not even that because there is no real way to id an engine like that. Like I had said this fool had to make 3 trips around the bay area to pick up all the parts. He had them stashed in 3 different garages. If he would have been arrested for possetion of stolen property we would have never seet the rest of the parts

Now if we found the car at his hous while they were striping it thats a different story.

Trust me we were deep enough and yes that was our original intent to beat the fuck out of anyone that was in on it. Since we didn't deal with the cops you kind of have to go by the rules of the street. We did a favor for them by not calling the cops and they worked with us got our shit back. If we would of called the cops all we would have ended up with was a bunch of pissed off people going to jail and then they would have never gave up our shit. If we would have started a war there would have been hella people leaken blood all over that place and we would have been in jail for asault that the way it goes.

Sounds like you handled the situation pretty well - got the parts back without any violence. They were not busted by the cops, but they were certainly busted. Those guys will probably continue stealing, but at least they'll think twice before doing it now that some of us know who they are and where they live.

So did they tow your friend's car away? No alarm? If my car ever gets stolen, I'll PM you for the information on where to look first.

Jory isn't like that he's a good person and this didn't deserve to happen to him so he just wanted his parts so he could put his car back together he has lots of money and time in his car and he knows how much he loves his car so all he wanted to do was get back behind the wheel of his car. I would have also preffered getting all my stuff back than giving some dumb mother fucker a broken face. Who even said dude was home free i'm sure not done with him just because Jory is that close of a friend to me. I'm not a regular poster on this board but I normally come on here to read a lot of the stuff posted and to look for deals. All I can say is Someone needs to post some names or at least notify all the people who have had a car stolen or broken into. They deserve the right to know. Heck, anybody purchasing parts has a right to know. I know I've meet some shady characters while purchasing parts off of here and craigslist and most have asked where I live or what I own. As long as these people are being protected, I'll never show what I have because nobody can be trusted. Good luck to those who have lost something. Hopefully someone can step-up for you as well.

Oh shit son. Paul also had my blue 86 in his shop for over a month on a 2 day job when he decided to skip town. I was scared shitless and ended up calling the cops in order to get my car out of his shop. I thought he was relatively cool till that happened. what ever happened to paul? he skipped town right?

LMAO. youre scared of these fools? If this was a case of someone slipping so be it! But if these guys randomly stole this car then they need to be exposed! With the spread out parts and multiple stangs around youre a punk for not exposing them as other cars are probably linked to them.

Yeah called the police damn there are some stupid ass people on here. Ok let me explain this to you. Anyone that has had anything stolen before kows how this works. First of all the police don't do shit. I have been down that road before with my stolen bike. The police can only go off what they can prove. Its not what you know its what you can prove. Even if the cop believes you 100% that this guy stole your shit he can't act on it without some material evidence. Our stolen parts being at this guys house don't mean shit because all he has to say is that he bought them used from someone else. The only way to get them caught up is if they have the stolen vehicle in their possetion.

All of you that live in the real world knows how this works. Not make believe land where you say that this guy stole my car and the big bad police officer takes them away for good!!!!!!

There are only a few options in a case like this.
You can go in with guns blazing and bust a bunch of people up. With that you might get some stuff back but not much and most likely the cops will get called by someone not involved. If thats the case then everyone is in trouble.... no good.
You can call the cops and tell them that these guys have stolen parts on the property and in their cars.... just be sure to have the serial numbers of your heads, intake etc. Dammit, you dont have those numbers, do you? Thats because aftermarket engine parts dont have serial numbers. What stops me from rolling up to anyone that has a pair of TFS heads and telling the cops that they are mine? If they rolled up and called the cops, they have to prove that any engine parts belong to them, not discribe but prove and without a mark of some sort you cant. If all the cars sitting around the house are legit then the cops wont do anything.
I cant see any other option than to roll up and play hard but cool in this situation. You can get your stuff back and leave clean. Remember, they can remember where the car was taken from and can figure out where others involved live. I wouldnt want some lowlife looking for payback rolling around my house even if I had my Stang put up or not. Its easy to loose your cool and get a big gang of people to go bust some people's heads up but wont pay off in the end. I agree that more info would be usefull but beleve TOPnotch is telling the truth about not knowing exactly who they are.

I fail to see how knowing who took the car in the first place will keep it from happening again. While I agree with passing the information along, I wouldnt personally post it up. I think sending PM's to people I trust would get the word out quick enough. I also think that just knowing who took this one car isnt going to make Mustangs quit dissapering. My car was towed away from my driveway in Roseville and I doubt it made its way to oakland. I now treat my cars like someone is just waiting for a chance to take it so I protect it the best I can at all times. With the word out on these guys I'm sure the operation will pick up somewhere else too.... unless a little stret justice happens.... its hard to strip a car if your hand has been cut off!
