Alright folks so here is the run down. A lot of people still want to do the cruise that was going to happen on the 24th but now it's happening on the 25th.

Let me know those who are in and I'll update the thread
The meet spot will be at the south land mall will update more facts soon

So we came down to this route
We will be meeting up at the south land mall at 9:30am. We will post up till about 10:45-11am. We will go through Niles canyon, go down to 680,580 and end up at 7th street.

Southland mall to san mateo bridge, take the scenic route (the 1) to monterey..eat chill..come back thru 101 head to sf take bay bridge to 880 end up at san leandro marina???

niles has been paved since earlier this year

you might be thinking polomerice (sp) rd, now that road reminds me of roads from mexico lol

I've driven all those roads many times.. palomeras, caloveras, niles canyon.. so I'm very familiar with every road. Just would not really like to go thru there at this point in time.

Yea, you can put me down. But you'll probably lose me at the end of Niles Canyon. At www.specialtysales.com 4321 First St. Pleasanton Ca. (if you've never been there you should check it out sometime) There's a big parking lot behind it. Then the next parking lot over, might have lunch at Bob's Giant Burger. Then cruise past the Goodguys show & maybe take a Canyon back. Your all more than welcome to make this stop & then continue on to 7th St? I don't think I'll be taking the Wife & Kids to 7th.

I'm at Niles Canyon so maybe I can join you guys for part of the cruise. I want no part of 7th street though(I have H9/H1 motorcycle ride for later in the afternoon so I will have enough excitement as it is).

What time and what part of Niles are you guys going to be at?

Sweet Cruise today, thank you all. I had a good time and a good burger. Some ended up in Saratoga for a bit. Then I had a nice mellow ride up 101 & back over the Dumbarton. Got home about 4:00pm. What route did the rest of ya take, who made it to 7th St. & how was it??

+1 it was turn out unfortunately me I ended up going home have my car pack, I was killing my tires and I was rubbing on every turn. But had a lot of fun ad met a lot of new people.

Sorry it took so long to get to Saratoga. Now you know which route we should do next. Highway 9 is a fun route if it is done earlier in the morning (not too many cars on that road).

I did a solo cruise wit family about a month ago to Grizzly Peak. There's pics of that also on that page. I got the idea from Ch.5's Eye on the Bay. One of the Bay's Great Views.

Who might be interested in a "Grizzly Peak, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley Hills Cruise?" The road behind Grizzly Peak has a couple big picnic areas. There's a couple parking areas at the top face of Grizzly Peak. There's an Old Steam Train in one area, the Tilden Park Merry Go Round in another area, & a Botanical Garden. I stopped at the Tilden Park Golf Course at their Grizzly Bar&Grill for lunch. Food was not that good but the beer was good, so I might suggest bringing lunch? We finished up at Lake Anza where we hung out for awhile. My Wife, Kids & I did the hike around the Lake. Which was real fun. There were a couple spots I thought the Wife might fall in, hahaha. I'd love to do one of these cruises with a bunch of Ford Fans. I've got like 5 Bay Area Great Views day cruises I'd like to do. I've only done 2, this one and the Muir Beach Overlook. Let me know what you all think about this??

I'd be down for grizzly peak anytime. Just fixed the overheating so I'm ready for whatever. I love those kinda of roads so let me know.
