(Heading South on HWY 5 this will be the first Santa Nella exit and the hotel is on the right hand side off the freeway.)


Meeting up at 6:15am and leaving by 7:00am

Drivers meeting 6:45


We will cruise and stop for gas and lunch at:


Lost Hills
Exit (CA-46 Lost Hills/Wasco)
Gas (Chevron, 76, Beacon, Texico)
Food ( McDonalds, Jack in the box, a Wendys, and Dennys)


Its 131 Miles from Santa Nella (2 hours) We will stop for 1 hour

I believe the two hotels everyone stays at are courtyard Marriott and holiday inn..both in Buena Park

The cruise is free.. there is no registration required, only the Blue Oval and a good attitude!


Hotels.. Your best bet is to get a small group of friends together and get a group rate at one of the hotels on the strip.. They will require one of you to give them your CC info to secure the rooms.

My question too. This will be my first year going. If those of you that have been before have some hotels you would reccomend and there is enough interest from other people trying to go, I'll do some homework on group rates so maybe we can all save a few bucks.

I've seen about 40ish for motel 6 to about 100 for holiday inn, radisson etc. I'm trying to find out how many people are going so I can get us price quotes for group rates.

When we went in 2010 me and 5 buddies got a sickass suite at the hotel right by the freeway on the Blvd, cant remember the name of the hotel tho. 2 Queen size beds, pull out on the couch, full bar, 3 flat screens for like 120 and we found it that Friday afternoon! Picked up some local chicks at a pizza joint and had a blast. Then woke up Hella fucked up and still did Saturdays coast cruise. Goodtimes! I'll be down there again this year

The way this weather is looking so far.. this year's cruise should have an outstanding turnout! Last year was iffy due to the crappy, rainy weather.. but we still managed to get about 100 cars. Anybody who has never been on this cruise will be in awe when they see how many cars go. Best ride out of the year for sure!

If you plan on attending and hanging out at the show, you might as well put it in, there are so many cars and trucks it really doesn't matter what it looks like and they dont really give out awards only for anniversary year stuff, plus you get a pretty decent goodie bag.

I just recieved an email to let me know that since i am not a member of 5.0 reasons car club i will not get the room at $89.00/night, it's now going to be $109.00 a night. Is there a special rate for ca fords or no?

I know our block of 30 rooms have been sold out and the hotel itself is close to being sold out. I would book a room and still try to contact some of the groups that have a block and see if there is any rooms left last min, the hotel can always transfer you to the discount rate.

I always do a fresh detail, and at every stop I use some quick detailer on the bumper and mirrors..you don't get the heavy build up of bugs and when you get to l.a. you have a clean car still

Good point that was brought up on another site....

If for some small reason you have any doubt in your mind your car might possibly not make the trip... Call and get AAA premium member with the 100 mile tow...

No one has ever been left behind on this cruise but for some reason you need a tow the membership fee will of saved you some $$ and peace of mind.

Thanks to everyone who joined the cruise. We had 93 stangs, 1 Prius and 2 Chevy's. Its nice to see the economy is getting better and people are heading back out to this show.
