Hello everyone!

On October 30th (Sunday), the Sacramento Chapter will be hosting a cruise over to Calistoga, CA. Come one come all! All Norcal members and friends welcome. If you didn't join us last year ......... this is a great route of amazing scenery and a plenty of twisties to keep you happy as well.

We will start in Sacramento...then head out past Lake Berryessa and into Napa. We will then cruise through the backside of St. Helena and on into Calistoga where we will stop for an amazing BBQ lunch at "Busters BBQ" on Highway 29. Ribs....chicken.....tri tip.....sweet potato pie will be there to greet us...then we will turn around and run the road back enjoying the same twists and turns that got us over to the beautiful Napa Valley in the first place. Should be an amazing day of cars, friends and conversation.

If you don't want to join us for the amazing drive and scenery, at least join us as a reason to eat as Busters. Read more about the place here you wont be dissapointed if you love BBQ:

Sound like fun or your stomach's growling? Well then come on out and join us for a great day. We will meet in Sacramento at the IKEA in West Sacramento at 10:00am. We will hit the road at 10:30am sharp so be there by at least then or you will have to play catch up.

For any of you who may want to join us from the Bay area.....we will drive by and make a quick stop to meet up with you and/or get gas at the Chevron station just off Highway 505 and route 128 in Winters, CA (would save some time so you wouldn't have to travel all the way up to Sac to join us). We will be rolling through here bout 11:10am so if your there by then all will be good. If nobody will be meeting us here, this will also be a good quick stop so anyone can top off their tanks or pick up any last minutes snacks for the road. The address for this Chevron is 999 E Grant Ave, Winters, CA 95694-9076 if you want to log it into your GPS.

Here is the address and meet up info on the Sacramento start point:

Here is a Map of the route...route is 138 miles round trip from the Ikea in West Sac and ending at the the Chevron in Winters on the way back:

Of course it goes without saying.....this time of year rain is likely.....and will cancel/postpone this cruise if it comes on the day of. Please keep an eye on this post for any cruise info updates.

All the usual cruise rules and etiquette will be in effect. If you find it hard to drive responsibly and like an adult....this is not the cruise for you. I will have no problem asking you to leave....and or turning over your vehicle information to the CHP should the situation warrant it. All of our cruises are family friendly events. As always please feel more then welcome to bring the kids along!

Lets enjoy the Fall season in the right way......cars, friends, a great cruise and BBQ.

Hope to see you out there!

Pardon my ignorance fellas, but how the hell do I get pics and vids onto this site? Apparently I've been so focused on fine tuning my wrench skills that I forgot how to use a computer...

Upload the pics to photobucket/flickr etc and put the video on youtube. Then post the links

Here's the video guys, shaky at best, but we tried. Hopefully next time around I'll have a gopro. As for pics, to be honest all the ones I have suck, but I'm putting them on flickr as I type anyways.
