Hotel De Oro
13070 State Highway 33
SANTA NELLA, CA 95322


For those who wish to stay the night prior to the meeting place in Santa Nella the hotel is offering a discount rate of $59 for Thursday night and they will offer there secure court yard to park your cars in.


(Heading South on HWY 5 this will be the first Santa nella exit and the hotel is on the right hand side off the freeway.)


Meeting up at 6:30am and leaving by 7:00am


We will cruise and stop for gas and lunch at:


Lost Hills
Exit (CA-46 Lost Hills/Wasco)
Gas (Chevron, 76, Beacon, Texico)
Food ( McDonalds, Jack in the box, a Wendys, and Dennys)


Its 131 Miles from Santa Nella (2 hours) We will stop for 1 hour
(Clock starts as last car pulls in, Please keep your hand held radios on you for departure notifications)
From there we will continue to the grape vine and stop at:


Grapevine Petro Truck Stop
I-5 at Laval Road West
5821 Dennis McCarthy Dr.
Lebec, CA 93243
(We will stop for 35 Min, Clock starts as last car pulls in, Please keep your hand held radios on you for departure notifications)


There we will meet up with the other leg of the cruise from HWY 99

Last year we had 112 cars, we expect MORE this year!!!!

Yea Jr get that stang going, every time I see your truck it makes me miss mine.

Looks like once we hit the 99/5 split for our final stop we will not only be meeting up with our Fesno Area chapter but also Central Valley Mustang Club who plans to bring an additional 25-30 cars!

Don't miss out gang, looks like this will be much larger then last year. [Big Grin]

Anyone who went on last years cruise, knows this is the cruise of the year. Cant even imagine if its going to be bigger than last years. I hope I can get my car done in time for this.

I think the SF area should meet by Foster city or just in the east bay.

You guys should join us, there is a reason we have so many people returning every year to our cruise, this is our 5th year straight doing this and you can't get any better then leading 100+ cars. We have 2 more Northern California car clubs and 1 more Central Valley car club joining us. There is no doubt we will be by far the largest group EVER to travel down south. [Smile]

Got some cool news.."Mustang Generations" was a printed Magazine that went into hibernation when the economy crashed and now coming back as a online Magazine before they go to print again and will have one of there editors with us on the cruise down to cover this GREAT event!

For anyone who is interested we are doing a cruise we did last year again with a couple of our SoCal members on Saturday..

Start at Hotel ( Marriott ), Hit 91 to the 15 to Lake Elsinore, we will regroup at Ortega Canyon ( Good Photo ops) and take off down Ortega Canyon to HWY 5 to Dana Point where we will hit PCH for a nice coastal drive and we will end in New Port Beach at http://rudyspubandgrill.com/

I'm rolling again this year. I can't wait, it was a blast last year. I already have my vacation set up for this. I will be towing my Blue fox down there again. Hey WIKDVNM, any word if we are going to attend a car show Sat. morning at Techco again, or somewhere else?

We thought about it, even had an offer from SMS but after holding very successful events 3 years in a row down there on Saturdays we kinda all took a vote and decided to take a break and just enjoy the day with a nice cruise and lunch with room after for people to enjoy the coast with there families.

Sounds good, we did get confirmation from one of our members who is a County SO out there, as long as there isn't any calls we will have Deputies at the stops blocking traffic for us to get back on the freeway.

Naw man we have been doing this cruise for 5 years now, its grown larger every year, even I am surprised at the great turnout but our cruises have good reputations for being well organized. Last year we had 87 on the list but had 112 show up.

What time will you guys leave? About how many miles will the cruise be? Trying to make plans before I head down there. Any info would help out. ( Saturdays cruise )We are meeting in the Marriott Hotel parking lot at about 9:45 and taking off at 10am.. The cruise should take 2-3 Hours till we stop for lunch.. After asking around to some of our SoCal members they say this cruise is awsome. We have around 25-30 cars going.

Start at Hotel ( Marriott ), Hit 91 to the 15 to Lake Elsinore, we will regroup at Ortega Canyon ( Good Photo ops) and take off down Ortega Canyon to HWY 5 to Dana Point where we will hit PCH for a nice coastal drive and we will end in New Port Beach at http://rudyspubandgrill.com/
I am planning on doing a Venice Beach cruise, but just in case...

Thanks to everyone who came out and made this the most successful cruise to date with 121 cars and 1 lighting I think we made history!
