Aight fellas im tired of wasting time. Weather is good and its time to get things going

Cruise will start in sac and be ending in Bodega Bay. Destination will be Doran city park that has a peninsula that extends into the bay. The park itself has about a 2 mile stretch of beach with a road that travels along it with parking. I figure we can all park by the beach, take pics, hit he sand & chill before we head back. We will go through vallejo & hit the 101 so it will allow all you bay guys to join in.

Should be about a 2 1/2 hour ride. Below is the map and that's coming from IKEA. Let me know who is interested so we can set up places to stop and have everyone meet or link up along the way. Also get timing set up. Should be a nice MORNING run fellas. All I ask is that everyone drive responsibly so nobody gets their stang impounded or wrecked. Save the speeding and donuts for another time Lets do it!!!

Sac depart west sac IKEA: 830am
Vallejo Rest stop: arrive 9:30am Depart 9:45-10am
In & Out Burger Petaluma: arrive 10:45am Depart 11:15-30am
Doran Regional Park: Arrive 12:30pm ish

IT DOES COST $6 TO GET INTO THE PARK. BIG MONEY

Im pretty open to where we stop in the bay. I figure it will be somewhere right off the 80. But Im waiting to see how many bay area guys are gona go so we can pick a spot. If u got suggestions though let me know

OK so i got it tentatively set up. Us sac area guys will meet up at the IKEA in west sac and be leaving there at 8:30am.

From this point we will make our second stop at the rest stop in Vallejo right before Six Flags. We should hit there at about 9:30am. This should give some of the bay area guys a chance to meet up with us as well as allow us to stretch our legs and use the bathroom. I can call or txt people our position on the freeway if they want to catch us before and after we leave. We will depart here at roughly 9:45 or 10am

Next stop will be the In & Out burger in petaluma. We should hit here about 10:45am give or take. This will be the last stop before we hit the 101 and head towards the park. I figure by this point we will have everyone together and ready to run. If people want to stop and eat and gas up we can.

The last leg will be roughly an hour trip from petaluma to the park and should be nice. i figure we will leave from In & Out around 11:15 or 11:30 depending on if people want to eat and then get to the park by 12:30. This should be early enough for us all to park and chill out for a while before heading out. IT DOES COST $6 to get into the park.

Let me know what you think. I will post a map here in a sec.

Not trying to thread jack, but i need to fix my car if i wanna go on this cruise... I have a vibration at freeway speeds, i replaced a rim that the shop said was bent, which after removing it from the car and inspecting, looks fine... got an alignment (G12), and rebalanced all 4 wheels (America's Tire Co.)... still vibrates. the vibration is not as noticable when i have a full tank of gas (weird)

Any Ideas???

yes. we used it for the half moon bay cruise. park out near the end so there's plenty of room.

If @ all possible designate a lead person from each of the groups that are gonna meet up with us as we head from sac. This way I have a contact person should we get seperated, run behind, or someone break down. Try 2 keep it organized ya know. I will post up my number here soon.

VIC HUBBARD CREW: Snakebit95 volunteered to be my contact for that meet up spot. so this way I can know how you are all progressing. You have about a 45-55 minute ride from vic's to the rest stop. Probably wanna hit the road same time as us in sac. 830 or 845 @ the latest. Ima get a contact list together sooner to the cruise.

Ok, so who ever is going to meet up at Vic Hubbard.
FYI - We will be rolling out @ 8:30am. 8:45am will be the absolute latest. Please make it a point to be on time. Once we are together I will give a call to 50deep to check thier progress. We will meet up with them at the rest stop on the map in Vallejo. We will have to pass it up by a couple of miles and turn around at American Canyon RD to Hit 80 westbound "no offramp going EastBound" for the rest stop. So the guys that are coming from San Jose area you guys should roll out no later than 8am & meet us at Vic Hubbard.

I spoke with one of my buddies that's a sargeant with CHP about trying to get a police escort or summn but he said fat chance. Said basically we will be a rolling target if people get squirrely.

So as long as everyone keeps their nuts in the sack while were crusing and this should be sweet. Nothing better that looking in your rear view and seeing 40+ stangs taking up all 4 lanes

Police escorts are expensive! But I don't think you'd need one for a nice, easy paced cruise.

Pony Princess: glad to see you coming out. Haven't seen many chix wit stangs lately.

04s281: control arms are pretty easy. Even easier if they come with their own ball joints. Otherwise you need a ball joint press but u can rent one. Hardest part will be seperating the spindle from the ball joint cuz its a whore & putting the lowering spring back in.

man that cruise is no were near the area of the last few big cruises but at least some one spoke up about having a big cruise. im just a lil but hurt im gonna have to drive 1hr just to get to the meet in vallejo. maybe people from the 650/408 can meet up some were then cruise over the bay bridge and meet up with every one else in vallejo??

Looks like its going to big everyone. Lots of people coming from all over. Epik was givn me shit sayn we should stay out there longer so im down to stay and chill as long as everyone wants too. Once we get to the in/out in petaluma I can get a look @ how many cars we got and we can all make some choices on the rest of the day.

The In/out burger spot should be good. There is a luckys parking lot right next 2 it and a warehouse type area a lil further down with a lot of parking. Also there are chevron & shell stations to gas up @. But the bottom line is parking will be a lil cramped no matter where we go due to the number of cars. Nature of the beast...... cops I'm not too woried about. Were not in a rush and I think its understood we won't be doing anything illegal. Just stopping to gas up, maybe eat, then get on to the coast. We will prob skip doran park & go str8 to one of the beaches on the coast due to parking.

PLEASE READ:
Listen guys/ladies there will be a lot of us on the road and were gonna draw a lot of attention. Please drive safely and just come out there to have fun. We all have seen fast cars and tire smoke before so its not needed. A lot of us including me are real excited about this and don't want it to end bad for anyone. State just cut 15% of my pay & I'm in backrounds for a law enforcement job so I can't afford any tickets. So for the 4 hours or so of your life were there, just cruise and lets enjoy the day. If your bringing someone who you know likes to act out then tell em to grow F up and just ride. And if the guy next to you is lookn like he wants to race then check em and tell em to calm it down. Stuff u guys already know. But if we work together then this will be a real good time.....

Ya that in n out lot is small, the luckys lot is real small too.
And the cops in petaluma are ok most of the time. Just dont act a fool.
The coastal beaches are cool but there is no parking lot big enough for 50 stangs. Just small little pull offs. As far as a centrally located spot the bodega headlands have a rather large lot and there is no admission. Its kinda on the point of the bay itself on the right side, the opposite side of Doran Park.
What time are you guys going to be in petaluma? So we can meet up.

Yeah if there is a bigger lot somewhere near there let me know. I'm not familiar with the area. Any suggestions? We can kinda make changes while were out based on how many cars we got and what the group wants to do

Bodega headlands sounds good though. I'm going to jump on gooogle and check it out. That was a spot the parks/rec lady told me about. Is that place the one u said is gravel? Don't want any paint chips

Hmm shouldn't be too bad as long as all were doing is parking. Long as its not like a mile long gravel road we gotta drive on. We will work it out. Are you pretty familiar with the area? When we get to petaluma you can help weigh in on the best place to check out. We can cruise the coast line till we find the best possible spot

Shoot!

My Harmonic Balancer is deciding to break itself apart right before this cruise!

I ordered the parts today and they are supposed to be here Friday afternoon.

I don't anticipate being able to make this as a result since I will be fixing the damn car on Saturday morning.

Really bummed about this! Take plenty of pics for me guys!

I will do, however, I will not know until late Friday night as I will be wrenching in the garage getting my balancer replaced. This is of course assuming it arrives on Friday afternoon like fedex says.

I'll post here Friday night to let all the East Bay guys know my status so nobody is waiting around for me in case I can't get the car done.

Yeah man 2day was a success. Had about 45 cars and finally got a chance to meet a lot of people. We got a lot of pics 2 upload. We didmt get back to sac till 8. Few of us had some fun in tha napa twisties. Nice seein those sac F-body & nor cal ls1 crew. Future events to come
