Ok guys, I would like to make this the official NorthbayGTG/BBQ thread. I would like to have it May 2, 2009 at laurel Creek park in Fairfield. The address is 1050 Cement hill Rd. at the picnic area by the softball field. I think the best time to meet up would be around 10:00am but it would be a good idea to get their earlier so you can to get a good parking spot. What I want to do now is make a list of things we will need to bring with us and get an idea of how many people will for sure be actually coming. Please choose an item off the list that you will bring and I will put your name by it. If anyone can think of anything else that I might have forgotten, feel free to post it up. I will be giving out wristbands to people who bring stuff to hopefully cut down on any freeloaders! Their is a big Field their for a football game and if we get lucky the Softball field might not be locked so maybe we could get a softball game (or maybe someone can bring some boltcutters...)

Either way I want this to be a fun event for gearheads to gtg and talk about cars and put some faces to alot of these screenames on this board. Their will be Chevy's and Fords at this event so it should be cool. So here's some of the items we will need.


Charcoal/lighter Fluid-East Bay 50
Hamburger/hotdog buns
Hamburger patties
Hotdogs
Chips
soda's
condiments(ketchup/mustard/mayo)
paper plates/napkins/plastic forks/spoons
Cookies (preferably the big Safeway chocolate chip ones!)

No interest on pitchin in on a 5gl or 13gl keg and wee keep it in the bak of my truck and use red cups..?hahaha cause wuts a bbq wit no beer...das my 2 cents..

well since im broke im gonna bring somethin cheap but screw it i just wanna contribute a little, ill bring the papper plates, napkins, ect.......im in vacaville so i can definately be there early i used to live over by cement hill....so lmk how much to purchase thnaks-dan

and yeah ive actually done the whole keg in hiding it works well i got 5 or 10 on a keg, but i hear the red cups have acid in them (almost famous)....hahahaha but really...big tub,ice,keg, and in the truck should work whos bringin it so i can pitch some money at them

well if you take it back after the bbq you'll still get your deposit back, or you can keep it and purchase a mini fridge and ill turn it into a keg-orator.....seriously its easy lmk...lol

what is fordlovers???is it all weekend ?? dayz time and location? maybe we all could do the bbq and then late afternoon cruiz up to sac???? does it go till night time???

i dont want to put things on this post that are not part of the gtg/bbq.....

but fordlovers is a carshow, swap meet, and track day at sac raceway. its from 8am-3pm its the frist sunday of May but me and my buddies are not going to drive to Vac and then the next day to sac....too much gas

Hey Damani, you should change the date to the following weekend since it is the same date as FordLovers in Sac....
