Ok Folks! After much anticipation, our next offical show is just around the corner!!

What: A Cafords Show N' Shine Event

Where: Racetune
1680 W. Winton Ave.
Hayward, CA 94545

When: March 26, 2005
11:00 am til it ends

Who: Any Ford lover that wants to come and look at some clean cars and have a great time!

Just a reminder, this is NOT a cruise event.

Signs will be posted in front of the driveway for everyone so no one will get lost.

In addition, Racetune will be having a separate event occuring same day so some spots will be roped off. Because of this, we urge everyone to come early if they want to secure a good location.

Parking lot is fairly sized...estimate capacity can be 80 cars or more. Still, early attendance is strongly advised.

The rear wheels come off and we bolt on hubs that attach to the dyno. It will be $50 for 3 pulls with A/F. We will be raffeling off some free pulls also.

There will not be classes. This is strictly just a show n' shine event for all caford members and racetune will be doing a separate event around the same time.

You are correct, this is a non-awards show. This is one of our informal meets. Our offical annual car show is held at Hayward state at the start of each summer. Calendars are being delivered to me today. If you would like to buy a calendar at the show please email me at lauren@cafords.com or pm me and tell me FOR SURE that you will be buying one. I will only be bringing however many people told me they will buy them at the show. The price is $22 at the show or $25 if you want it delivered to your door.

We are considering putting all our old white shirts (only sizes SMALL & MEDIUM left) in a box with a donation jar and letting people take what ever white shirts (only sizes SMALL & MEDIUM left) they want and leave a donation out of good will towards cafords [Smile] Any interest in this? Ok guys,
As far as I know, the show is still going to happen. I will have a sign posted in front of the parking lot to prevent everyone from getting lost finding where it is.

Show starts at 11am and will go til we're tired.

FYI: I only have five calendars left in my possession that I will be bringing to the show. If you know that you are going to want one, please bring $22 in cash to the event. Hurry while they last!!!!!! [patriot]

I am so glad that you posted pics of your ride..It makes it easier to find the people that were burning out in the parking lot so that I can say right now that we do not tolerate this kind of behavior at our events. [Embarrassed]

You were not the only one, so do not think that I am singling you out. The others have already been scolded, but please refrain from doing this [burnout] or chirping your tires in other people's parking lots. Frank, the owner, was nice enough to allow us to hold our event there so lets show some respect for him now and in the future. [Smile]

Other than that, I had a great time seeing some familiar and not so familiar faces today. There were around 25-30 cars at 1pm (late risers) but overall a success in my book. Frank and I were talking, and he just might start catering to more mustang equippment in order to service our rides in the future. Good news because I know we are all looking for a new, trustworthy shop to get our cars fixed at and dyno'd.

"Sir, we can take your car in to be Wet Sanded and Buffed, but it's gotta be today"
