We are having our 3rd Annual CaliforniaFords.com Car Show on August 14, 2004! Mark your calendars. It will be same place as last year at Cal State Hayward and will begin at 8am and lasts until 12pm when the awards are given out.

Who: All Mustangs and Ford Trucks
When: August 14th, 2004, Lot E2 (Same as Last Year)
Where: Cal State Hayward
Cost: $35 at the show (includes T-shirt)
Winner: Trophies, Raffles, Giveaways

Category A (64-93 Stang)
Category B (V6 Stang)
Category C (93-98 GT)
Category D (99-04 GT)
Category E (93-98 Cobra)
Category F (99-04 Cobra)
Category G (Saleen and Roush)
Category H (Truck)
Category I (87-93 Stang) Due to the low number of pre-entries, this group has been combined with Category A!

Remember, this is peer judging so the judging will be up to you. Only those that enter can judge. This is FREE to all the wish to stop by and check it out!

Also, specify what SIZE t-shirt you want!

I think I would agree with him on this. There are tons of Mach 1's in the bay and beyond, and since they aren't GT's, and not cobra's, they really deserve there own group.

I agree. I entered last year and I had to enter in the GT category. It was a cool show though, defintitely some sweet rides showed.

If I get enough entries I will create a MACH1 category. Send in your entry with a note that your car is a MACH1 and if I get enough, it will be created. Tell those that have a MACH1 to do the same so I know that we have a great turnout for MACH1's!

I will keep you posted on the categories!

You know matt i feel that the 64-93 stang category is a little unfair that is such a broad range of cars i dont think it gives members a good enough chance to win when there are so many cars in the category and they are usually allot of cars in the category. Its just a thought there could be more winners and then more people would be happy to enter because the classes would be smaller. maybe you could break it down to earlier model stang pre 78, 79-86, and 87-93 it would be a little more fair i think what do you guys think? cant wait for the show see ya there.

I think he has a very valid point!!!!!!

Let's try this. I will break up the 64-93 and create 64-86 and 87-93. Since most of the cars are later models, I think this will be better for everyone. However, unless I get less than 5 cars for the group, then we will have to still with the original plan. Get the word out and will the groups!

I have postponed the car show in August 14, 2004 due to the fact that I couldn't get parking space for June 27th, 2004. This will give not only us, Moderators, more time to plan but you Ford Owners as well to get your cars ready for the show!

If anyone that has sent in there entry that CAN NOT make it August 14, please let me know so I can give you a full refund.

since the show only goes until noon, i think we should set up a cruise after. maybe end up at Hooters in the city or an in-n-out burger or somethin. i'd like to have a cruise on the west-bay for once instead of across the bay.

V6 classes have existed before, if I recall, my filthy Hertz Convertible would have come first if I had entered it last year, as there were no other V6 entries!!

That's actually wrong. Jesse's 94 v6 vert with roll bar took first last year. then the year before it was the red fallen v6 that took first. There were a few cars, but not many.

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough entires to make a category for the SVT Focus class. Maybe next year. He can enter his car to get a t-shirt and judge on other cars and trucks but I won't have award to give. I would at least enter just for the t-shirts!

I think I'm going to make it!

I'm going to leave Thursday night and crash at my inlaws place in Monterey. I'll clean up the truck Friday morning and drive up to Hayward Saturday morning say 6-7am?

EDIT: Oh chit! Monterey is about 2 hours away from Hayward!

I guess I would have to stay up in the Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area (where I used to live) but I'd be a little uncomfortable staying at a hotel with the L.

We will also be there selling water and sodas for $.75 so drinks are covered. Lets make this show better than the past twon years, tell everyone you know to come. The vendors are putting lots of effort into coming, show them some gratitude, and come everyone.

Looks like I won't have my car at this show, stoopid shop still hasn't even painted it and they have had it for 3 weeks now.

Vote for my POS Ranger in the truck division, not because its the best, but because you feel sorry for me
