Everytime I go it seems like the fords outnumber the Chevys 2 fold.

I'll be out of town but probably wouldn't go anyway. It is pretty lame the way they do it. All Fords race eachother and all Chevy's race eachother until the last two cars are left. That is retarded. So, if there are twice as many Fords than you have to win twice as many races to get to the final than the Chevy guy. LAME! Every race should be Ford vs Chevy, not just the last one! It should be Ford vs Chevy until there are no more of one and then it can be Ford vs Ford since we know we would eliminate all of the Chevy's even if we only showed up with half their numbers!

Not to mention, they invited imports last year to partner with them on the event, and just happened to leave that part off the flyer. I'LL be there to watch but will not be racing, its too unorganized.

how strict is tech at this event? I got a cage in my car that hasnt been passed by NHRA yet. just wondering if they will still let me run. sac raceway doesnt care on Wednesday nights.

Well if you don't run faster than 10.99(I think) you don't need a cage can be made out of toothpicks if you like just need a helmet. But again I don't know I don't race at the track, someone will chime in who knows tho.

i'm gonna try to bring out my car finally. but i'll need a TNT night prior to test out the new motor, suspension and clutch. and hopefully the alumium heads don't detonate like the iron heads did.
