Well the car ran a new best at sac, but since they did the update on the track people can expect to see a drop in MPH. Most people are seing roughly 3mph drops. All runs on Nitto drag radials.

Hot lapped the car 5 runs in a row, but had a new best N/A and bottle

Car ran a best N/A
60ft- 1.91
e.t- 12.56
mph- 109.8

On 100 shot
60ft-1.702
e.t- 11.83
mph-114.4

Car had some clutch slip on these runs, mph is way down on the bottle. Guess that could be expected with a stock clutch with over 100k on it, lol. Got a new trans, and rearend waiting to get slapped in the car!!! Just need time to do it!

Stock 170k shortblock, gt40x 64cc heads, gt40 intake, and tfs1 cam. The old car is sold, but missed.

Can anyone provide details on what update to the Sacramento Raceway equipment would cause a 3 mph drop in trap speeds and why? This sounds really strange. Thanks!

From what I was informed was that the track had its MPH readers to far back.

Good to hear your back out there tearing it up Mike. The car looks nice! That's too bad on that MPH thing at Sac..means my car is even slower that i thought it was haha.

Thanks Rhett, long time no see. Ya the mph thing is crazy, I guess everyones car's were a little slower then we thought! I guess the update was done because some big NHRA names that will be racing there.

Ya its been awhile. I sold off my Mustang a couple years ago. Now driving around 2 tons of Aussie goofyness. Know what i mean mate? lol
