Cruised up to the track last night with Mike D and had a good time. First time down the drag strip since 03 when I sold my old car. Car ran its best pass on the first run with some bad spin, and as it got colder it didnt get better. 12.8 t 113.4 with a shit 2.0 60ft. Pretty happy with the MPH considering its a stock 170k shortblock with GT40x heads, and a tubular gt40. On the jug it went 12.2 with a best MPH of 121 with another 2.0 60 with some 2nd gear sideways motion. Will be looking to go back on a saturday with some track prep.

good to see you are still in fairfield, one of the few who hasn't bailed
get your old car back, or a new project?

Thanks Scott, damn its like I just seen a ghost!
Ya little gt40x heads are running pretty good. These heads have got to have some miles on them since even when they were on your car! Almost thinking of switching to some longtubes, but dont think it will gain enough to be worth the hassle.

Eric I couldnt locate the old car, but picked up a clean 92GT. Done some work to it, but mainly just a fun street car. Been more into streetbikes and racing them for the last few years, but had to get another fox.

2stangs was running GT40X heads on his 331 with an S Trim in his fox for a while. I think he was trapping somewhere around 128 mph with them. Not bad little heads.
