So last week I got a wild hair and decided to take the SLOLEEN to the track to do some shake down runs and data logging. It ended up being a short day...lol I trailered the car, just incase the stock T45 decided to give up the gusto. Instead, it was the super charger that failed on the 2nd full pass. No word on what caused the failure yet. I haven't had time to remove it and send it back to Vortech. I'm thinking the failure was caused by an inadequate blow off valve for the power.

Anyway, it wasn't all bad. I'm very happy with the 1 run I did make with the car. I babied and granny shifted the thing the entire way down the track to a 11.40 @ 134.6 with a 2.0 60ft. I would have been a little harder on it had I known that was going to be the only run, but oh well, maybe next time.

FWIW, the next run was a 1.64 60ft, but obviously that didn't net any better ET with the super charger issue.

Good #'s for a "shakedown" pass! I'm sure the charger was one of the last thing's You thought would break .

134 shows a ton of potential. Now if you can just learn how to drive lol. Was a it a V2 supercharger?

134 is weak. It picked up 29.3 MPH on the big end. You're right, I need to learn how to drive.

The blower is labeled as a V1. The last time it was at Vortech to get checked out, before it went on the new motor, they told me it was actually a V2. It was then upgraded to the V3 Si specs, which didn't work out so well....so far.

Vortech knows the unit doesn't have much time on it and said they would work with me as much as possible on resolving the issue.

How much boost was it pushing and what rpm were you spinning the blower at?
