can you run slicks on wednsday nights?

Yeah you can run full slicks but you have to have rim screws or they wont let you race. Drag radials you dont need screws. [Big Grin]

I think they only allow DOT tires on Wednesdays. Might want to give them a call to be sure. Have fun.

Ive seen people with slicks and no screws get kicked out of line right before getting to the burnout box at Infinion.

didnt go wednsday because stupid fedex lie and said my parts were on the truck to my house when they were sitting in bencia for 3 days. the guy i bought these slicks from ran them at the track with no problem. i guess i got to find out.

I've never once heard or seen anything about rim screws. Go online and check the rulebook if you want to be positive. Most people don't run screws on these mustangs unless they have a very serious setup.

im a noob when it comes to slicks, but last time i tried to run my e/t streets at the track they told me i needed some sort of metal stems... was the guy talking about rim screws?

Metal valve stems assure the tech official that you are not running tubes in your slicks and therefore you do not require your slicks to be "screwed" to your wheels to be legal.

Slicks w/o tubes = metal valve stems

Slicks w/tubes = tires screwed to wheels

slicks w/tubes= rim screws. Thats exactly my point. Thats why i ran rim screws cause the tubes. Should of stated it clearer. My bad! [burnout]
