Made it out to TNT today first run not very good felt like the clutch was slipping, came back went over a few things. Second run I ran a 10.454 @ 138.690 with a 1.629 60ft but I felt a lil slip just on the launch. Third run I went 10.265 @ 137.110 with a 1.503 60ft. Ill have Epik post the time slip's tonight. Overall im happy im right behind my cousin streakmatt with no tune. last month's grudge I trapped 127mph. so I added the meth kit some new MT drags and i lil pulley change and picked up 10MPH amd seen 137- 138. not bad for a home tune flat backing it

Sorry i missed out guys we just got done w/ an Evo build so my car isn't ready yet and we were about to bring the newly tuned Evo up but decided to wait until maybe this weekend to do so.

I did get some good news from a buddy of mine that has a build LS7 in an FD RX-7 that went 10.7 @ 138mph 1.6 60ft. He also has a Vortech Cobra

TRIXSNK nice vid, its really clear too. Yeah we seen a black RX-7 out here with '03 cobra wheels on the back and MT ET Street radials. He almost lost it at the top of the track. We talked to Dave JR. and he said there were skid marks down there that look like he went for the clutch and hit the brakes instead at 120+ ..Swerved all the way over to the other lane. Not sure if thats your buddy though.

I also assume you guys are running girdles? If so, which one?

What size rear tire you two running? 137mph... are you guys able to get there in 4th wtih 3.73s?

I'm gonna be first! LOL, I'm trying to do it Sat. night ...Yeah we both are running girdles, Don't remember which brand. We had the machine shop order them for us. Tires are 26-10-15 ET Drags. With the 3.73's Zack is running out of gear about 25-30 feet before the stripe. When I rebuilt my rear end and added the suspension I dropped down to 3.55's which helped out. Zack is gonna change to 3.55's sometime this winter. I think thats why his 1/8th mile MPH is higher than mine, but he only gained 29MPH on the top end, to where I gained 31MPH.

That was my buddy Ron out there.

He told me about the top-end incident.....but said it was actually the first time he power-shifted it into 4th and it got all kinds of squirrly on him

I'll bust his ballz about hitting the brakes though

We are all stuck now w/o cages etc.

How has Sac been on tech for Grudge nights?

I bet they are cracking down more these days with so many cars dipping into the 10 sec or quicker range as "streetcars"

yeah matt should be the first, im right behind him tho with no tune i need to change to 3.55's ASAP....and add the suspension that matt added. to be honest i think i can hit a 9 with out the suspension, but i definitely need the 3.55's cuz running out of gear about 25-30 feet before the stripe has to be hurting me.

TRIXSNK..Its been kinda hit and miss for the techs. Zack has been running 10's the last few times with nothing more than a helmet LOL. He drives right through the ticket booth and they haven't said anything. When he ran the 10.26 he stopped though and they booted him. Like SmokinLX said, you gotta get a cage and stop ducking the man

Drew..I guarantee Zack will jump on that trade, 3.55's are what he needs. Thanks for hooking him up with the 42lb. injectors, he's been flying ever since

I'm excited to hear about the grudge results.

Are both of you guys still running stock blocks? Stock T5's? Stock axles?

I'm watching closely because you both seem to be pushing the envelope, even on a national level.
