Finally, after dropping a valve in my 331, taking out 1 head, 2 pistons and a cylinder wall and a year of my car being down, the 'vert lives again. Here is the new combo

342 Dart Iron Eagle block
SRP pistons w/12.5 cc inverted dome. Around 9.8-9.9 compression ratio
AFR 205 60 cc heads with Manley ProFlow valves and optional cnc ported exhaust ports (#1452's)
Jesel shaft mounted rockers
Engle solid roller cam
Intake .602 lift 280 duration 244 @.050
Exhaust .608 lift 290 duration 254 @.050
112 degree lobe center
Victor 5.0 intake
75mm Throttle body
My old Hooker longtubes, 3" X-pipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters.
Still running my TKO, Spec stage 3 clutch and 4.10s with 27x11.5 Quicktime pros

Hoping to get it to the track on Wednesday.
No nitrous plate for it yet, since I was running a GT-40 plate on the 331.

What do you think it will run on motor alone? The 331 ran 12.0x the last 3 times to the track. Never could get an 11.xx timeslip on motor.

Let the guessing begin [Wink]

If it hooks, well into the 11's for now becuase it is the first time out. Who knows how fast once you dial it in and NOS it [Eek!]

Heartland Park in Topeka Kansas is about as close as I can find to the middle
1480 miles for me
1532 miles for you [Big Grin]

That is still a long tow just to go race. And with our luck we would tow all the way out there and brake something on the first pass.

Well, the trip to the track SUCKED. 25 mph headwind, 1 hour wait from getting into the tech line to first run. only got 5 passes and missed at least one gear on all but one pass [Eek!]

Best run of the night was 1.64 60ft 11.98 @ 113.7
had to shift into 3rd REALLY SLOW !!! Driving home, the trans is shot. Won't go into 3rd and 4th grinds. Time to resynchro the trans and get back out there. Track is closing in May and will remain closed until mid Oct (Extending shut down, new tower, new stands, etc....) With a bit of tuning, new synchros and some seat time, it should drop into the mid 11's. Then a 200-300 shot should get me where I want to be [Wink]
