I guess you missed the EFI part.

I was originally called the Ford vs Chevy...but they're game to include others with transplants.

Earlier this year TJ said I could run this event if the entries are not filled. Now he says I can't no matter what. Personally I think he's just scared that I'll make all of his cars look bad. Oh well fuck it you caford foos death sentence has been put on hold just a little bit longer. Enjoy what little time you have left!!!

Thanks Becca for TJ's email address even though he never replies back to emails or pm's.

I Am. It will be some tough competion though cause You know those LS1 block's are alot stronger than our 5.0 block's. I took the runner up 2 times ago but got sent home in the 2nd or 3rd round last time. Event was pretty good last time [patriot] .

Posted by dinols1z (Member # 7722) on :

Awesome. I really enjoyed seeing all the 5.0's last time. There were a few with single turbo setups that were quick. (at the May shootout) I missed the last sept shootout.

You need to lower tech card prices if payouts are only $100/80 for 1st and 2nd in most classes or payouts then should be doubled.Because Outlaw payout is higher but with same price tech card also lower car count in outlaw.I payless on points race and payouts are five times then you payouts. .So why should I pay $60 tech card,$40 in fuel to beat on my car to break even.I know if you lower prices you have a higher turnout of cars

Posted by dinols1z (Member # 7722) on :

If you think about it, $70 is not bad, What is a test n tune now $50, Our is $70, if you are the one of the 1st 100 people you get a t shirt, you can get a payout, 8hrs of racing with only domestics.

test n tune does not offer that.

-Dino

I don't run test and tunes or grudge nites they are a waste of time and money.I race for money I know how my car runs already.

Oh Ok, Well I would also like to add if you are running and get eliminated, there will be a fun run lane so you can/will continue racin. Also if all the racing gets done early like we hope it will, we will have a little grudge racing.

Well good thing is we start the event at noon end at 8pm. So for the last 3 hours or so it should start to cool down.

I have no idea, We should doing the Poker run in July, The 4x4 in motion Niagra rim run. www.4x4inmotion.com

We have doing it for about 4 years in a row now. Its pretty fun, and offers some decent wheeling and some pretty gnarly rock crawling.

is anyone running in outlaw class ?

Posted by dinols1z (Member # 7722) on :

There should be a few in the outlaw class. I believe in the past we have always had a good enough turnout that all the classes had a good amount of cars running.

I just came back from the Con and Fordyce back to back weekends. The Niagara Rim PokeHER Run is on the 7th. Isn't your event on the 8th? You still going to go? Niagara Rim looks nice. Kinda mild from what I heard. But nice scenery.

I believe there were only 2 cars in Outlaw last time at the efi shootout?

What happend to the 2 stroker motor classes? Last year it was something like under 355 cubes raced together then the bigger strokers raced together????

Posted by cummins (Member # 5931) on :

Well I have a few friends that are going to your event so I may go and hang with them. I wasn't going to go since TJ doesn't want my car there. I think he's worried that all the cars, except the ones in outlaw, will get crushed by me and my lil supra. Import taking over the world!!!!

Have fun in your g/f's dad's jeep. I'm sure its going to be a blast at Niagara Rim.

Posted by dinols1z (Member # 7722) on :

I would definitley like to see your supra sometime. I am a huge fan of imports. I used to own a crx and del sol. I was ( and still am) into import cars.

Eventually I am going to get another import. In a couple years I want to get either a 240sx or rx7. Then do a ls1 swap.

-Dino

Posted by cummins (Member # 5931) on :

Those cars would make good motor swaps for ls1's. Aren't there a few of the ls1 rx7's around? I used to own a 93 rx7 that car was fun to drive. But I sold it after getting a supra.

I know of a few 240sx and 240z supra swaps and they all run 8s. Kinda cool being so light with so much hp.

Posted by dinols1z (Member # 7722) on :

Yeah a couple guys on NorCal-Ls1 have rx7 Ls1's. Jason actually had his bar'd/smoggged. He sold it a couple months back. It was a bad ass car.

Aram ( norcal member ) has a 88-91rx7 turboII with a ls1. It hit a 9.9 @ 140+. Pretty much a stock motor too. Smog legal heads/cam, Intake, Shorty or mid length headers (cant remember) and a 125 shot on slicks no roll bar either. All in all I guess it has got less than 10k invested into it, including the cost of the car.

But yeah Hinson supercars has kits for 240sx/rx7 ls1 swaps.

Shock drifting performance in san jose actually specializes in those swaps. They have a couple track cars. My buddy works their part time and I have been meaning to pass by there and check it out. Here is there link
(sdp-online.com)

We usually have a few 240sx/rx7 ls1 cars come to our shootout.

Forecast says 101 degrees at 5pm + add another 20+ degrees on the track.... I don't really want to sit in a hot-ass car with a helmet & fire jacket. LOL
We'll be sitting this one out...

I don't even think I'll make it out to watch this time. Just too damn hot.

Too bad Norcal scheduled it in July.... I have a feeling turnout will be lower than in the past. & due to the heat, there will probably be quite a few problems.

Next time Mid/late October & Late April/Early May. Some of the best times for Drag events IMO....& racing till 10pm when it gets down right chilly that time of year.

Im coming but I have a few questions. My buddies dad has a 67 camaro he wanted to bring but it doesnt have an ls1 can he still come and race? And also my dad has an ls2 in his vette can he race?

My thoughts exactly [Roll Eyes]

I know we live out here in Cali and shouldn't complain too much but for me to make a 2 hour travel to and from, plus weather, plus racing expenses [Frown]

Hate to say it but i'd rather wait until conditions are right for good #'s

As you can tell i'm not much of a competitive money racer just looking for my best times at the track [patriot]

Any domestic car can race. For your friend in the 67 camaro there is a carb calss and a bracket class. If he gets eliminated there is a "loser/grudge" lane.

I didnt mean to schedule it for July but it was the only date available when I called in January, but My thoughts are to schedule next years events this year LOL and not screw up the Social director for next year.

Also our next event will be in September, So track temps should be cooler.

well, lucky for you fools i'm still sorting out the air/fuel issues promoted by the intake swap. but don't worry, you'll have your "chance" at the "title" very soon.

on a serious note though...good luck and drive smart/safe today.

Yep if 2Skanks was actually at the track he would have gotten slaughtered as all of my passes were much faster than he's ever been. And hell I never made a full pass I was always on the brakes or aborted the run due to getting way out of shape on every pass. And hell these were tuning passes not racing passes. I don't think you want any of this 2Stanks!!!! I'm too much man for you! You're better off racing slow people like hidnnos!

Yeah you definitely have alot of ET left in it with that MPH. Your car is running hard. Your 60 fts. must have been in the 1.7-1.8 range. If you can get it down to some high 1.5's you'd be running 11.2-11.3's.

I raced in Outlaw and won the class. Track conditions were awful because of the heat. Only 5 cars in Outlaw. 2 fast turbo cars and 3 blower cars. One turbo car broke and the other one had traction issues (he was running drag radials). I had terrible 60fts just like everyone else but my string of consistent 8.8s and 8.7s sealed the deal.Payout was $250. First time I ever won any money at the track. Next Norcal event is 08 September. Thanks Norcal!

Congrats!! The outlaw class cars were hauling ass!! Your car was definley moving. The event went well. It seemed to me like everyone was having fun even in the 90+* heat.

Like he said our next event will be on Sept 8th. Gates will open @ 3pm. So the track will be stickier and the air from 3pm on will only get cooler. So you guys will be getting faster.

Nice to see some real fast Fords out there.

Hey I have an idea for Hidnnuts and 2Stanky. How about when the next time you two go out on a romantic dinner date with each other you can each order the same meal. It would be very cute. In fact why don't you foos come to my restaurant called the Bird House. I'm the server there and the special of the day is call CROW!!!!!! Eat it bitches!!! hahahahahha! What a bunch of dorks! So here's the following people from this site that has verified a cummins sighting at the track last month where his slowest time was much faster than the 2 of you have ever gone. Notch1320, Fastasslightning, Smokinlx, Opie, the whole Nextgen Crew.

Best Regards,
Cummins <~~~~ This guy just shoved crow down hidnnuts and 2stanks throats.

it has been talked about but honestly I don't think it is looking like it. I'd love to but it may take away in the original purpose for these races.

There has been thought of a currently registered and insured outlaw class... and maybe we could allow carb cars to run in that.

why don't you come to Redding this weekend in your supra and really teach me and the other boy's in Redding a lesson. We are having a street grudge race starys at 6 pm Sat night.

Why would I eat crow for something you said? You lied and BS'd in the past so much you think 1 thing proven really means anything to me or anybody here???

See you in Redding you can beat my slow car and I will honestly tell people how fast you are. If you don't show I will tell everybody I called you out and you were scared to show how is that?(because that is how it is going to be) [Wink]

man i thought he said he sold his supra?

Posted by cummins (Member # 5931) on :

LMFAO!!! Wait, you want me to race you at Redding which is 3.5 hours from me and the fastest you've been is 11s and you usually run mid to high 11s? And you want to call me out and I just ran 9.50 at sac on a busted pass in front of other caford peeps that verify this? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

You calling me out is like me calling John Force out. If you want to call a faster car out then you go where the faster car is. I don't come to you. You're my bitch you come to me. I already told you that I was going to be at the sac tnt on the 29th of June. I was there and you weren't!!! And by the way, at least hidnnos knows not to type with his mouth full. In actuality he knows about my car through his other boyfriend Jmir, but he just likes to stir it up and I love the banter so I play along. In a way I kinda feel bad for you. Your old ass didn't even realize I was telling the truth about my car when everyone else did a long time ago.

And Full Throttle yes I did sell my supra.

LOL yep whole lot of mouth lots of BS no action save it for somebody who cares...BTW you don't no shit about what my car runs so don't think you do OK. John Force actualy shows up to races and races [Eek!] anybody can run a fast car at Sac I wanted to see if you could actualy drive....Looser I don't have a roll bar in my car so that is why I run 11.50 and above. If you showed I was going to put slics on it and actualy put the power to it. But I knew you would not because you are [BS flag]

You are just butt hurt that you got shown up. You think I really have a need to go out to prove something to you? You're a nobody!!! Just some old ass foo who always comes up with an excuse. "No roll bar", "my pussy hurts", blah blah blah!!! Until otherwise, I ran mid 9s and you run 11s this is what's proven. That is what time slips say and that is what the numbers are. You don't race, you just drive down the track. And you think you're some kind of driver? Hell anyone can pilot an 11 sec car down the track. If you were a real racer you'd have your nhra license and your car would be cert'd. But are you, NOPE!!!! Instead you can't step up to the real world and be a man. Like I said before you're nothing. Case closed I'm faster than you!!! And I'm younger, skinnier and much better looking!

so should I be a man like you and tell boys they can ride in my car if they give me a hummer?

What you do is not called drag racing its called going for a scenic drive in the slow lane. You have no nhra license. You have no cert on your car. This is what real drag racers have. You're hella old. When are you going to graduate from grade school and man up with a license and a real car? Or has 30 years of the 5th grade been an impassable hurdle?

Nope...definitely carberated. The post in the drag section is '50 fastest mustangs....' with a bad titled hyperlink at the top of the section titled 'Fastest EFI...' that links to the post of the 50 fastest.

I can throw a mass air, throttle body, and some injectors in the trunk though and call the car EFI [Smile]
