Not really, 10's I expect to see and be quite content with, it cost way too much money to run 8's and my money will be much better spent elsewhere.

yeah that was pretty awesome huh??!! car made some pretty ridiculous numbers on the dyno , just couldnt apply it today, but he did match his old best of 9.97, but at 142 today instead of 139, even in the heat.....not bad for a stock trans 6spd street mobile! with a fat white guy drivin! haha

I was letting out of it. It would hook, then spin. I'd let out, it would hook and go. By the end of the day, I was launching at 3800, let it hook, then floor it. I ended up running a 10.61@138. Took the stroker/power adder class. [Wink]

Nice vid's Tony! It was pretty hot out there but the track seemed be in pretty good shape. Lot's of chevy's were breaking and holding thing's up though. [Wink]

No thanks. I am not good at that. I once tried and I was a full second slower. Just not good enough to do I think. I'll get it on Firday. I am bringing ICE for sure!

Herman has a 331 with a xx trim blower and a powerglide. Arvin has a 351w plus a couple of extra cubes with a xx trim blower also. Arvin has a c4 transmission. Someone else made a comment about Fran with the white mustang and yellow stripes running 10.30's. It is indeed a factory (as in oem) block for a mustang.

Yeah that was Me He took out in the final's and I said it must be one of the fastest stock block's around the bay area. Prop's to the guy for running a 10.3 with a stock block. [Eek!] [patriot]

nice run guy's. we did good mph's in the cobra all most 130.first time to the track with the new setup car is also not tune we have had fuel prob's in high reb for the longest.wen its fully tune it should be in the 700+rwhp [Big Grin] .we also race the turbo camaro he thought the cobra had no chance.dude was mad after the race. [Mad] hehe

oh awesome stuff......all those cars were movin out good ! That paint scheme seems to kick some ass...haha......you had some issues though huh JP, not building boost ?

Yeah some issues. I just finished the motor Wednesday so no testing before the track. I ended up having a crack 3/4 the way around the wastegate which caused some boost issues.
I raised the compression from 7.3 to 9.0 and changed converters. I was really hoping for some better numbers. Oh well better luck next time.

oh ok, we were wondering when you were gonna lay down some numbers that day, but we thought maybe the heat was giving you some issues.....I remember you saying your car was getting hot, maybe that was just on the street though?? anyway, im sure it'll be killin the castros again soon! haha! 8.50s on 10.5s ?
