I am pretty sure 13.99 or quicker requires a cage. If You want to give it a try go to sac. cause infeneon will kick You out the second you run a 13.

Hey guys are u sure he needs a cage. I thought 13.99 and quicker was just a roll bar for a 'Vert . Not sure if its different if you run 12's.

You might be rite. Tony should chime in here with the 411.

New rule now for convertibles. 13.5 or faster NEEDS a certified cage.

You need a 5 Point just like running non-vert 11.5 and faster. And yes Certified.

I was told by the techs on Wednesday Night Drags at Sac that I needed a cage for 13.49 or faster so I had a 8pt cage put in. You'll also need a 5 pt harness...
I haven't been warned about being certified yet. The Infineon guys didn't mention anything about it when I was last there. Were can you get a cage certified?
What's the fastest you've run in your vert? Do you think it's a 12 second car or have you done it already?

Nice lawn.
You don't need the cage certified unless you run 9.99 and faster or above 135mph
