mmmmm....would love to go but my car doesn't have headlights anymore [Smile]

Posted by PRIMERED COUPE (Member # 6342) on :

Well TNT is from 12-4 that day also so i'm sure you can show up during then if you wanted but it says Gates are open at 4 pm. Admission $5 and racing $30, so basically $35 car and driver. I hope the weather is good [patriot]

isnt it suppose to rain?

Posted by 98slowhoe 'FIFTYLX' (Member # 895) on :

I might go to the TNT but Me and my friend are going on during the night for my B-day. Maybe I might see some of you there still during the day.

What are the rules at grudge?

Are there eliminations? Or do you just get in line and run all night?

If I go, this will be my first time.

Posted by JohnB (Member # 969) on :

I'm down. I'll be there with the Mach1. The Cobra is sitting this one out. [Wink]

Posted by HaulinAssMaro (Member # 541) on :

If weather permits Ill be there with the 86GT.It was a year ago this event that I tagged the wall,so it would be nice to try and not do that this time [Whoo Whooooo!]

Posted by Team SOLO (Member # 722) on :

Hmmmm...if all goes well early in the day, I can show up for the first few hours. I can get in a run or two before the sun goes down. How the car runs earlier in the day will determine if I trek out to Sac that night!!!!

Matt, hope neither of us relive last years bad luck:

Me:
-headgasket blew in tow vehicle
-cut up finger when ring caught on fence trying to get to Matt after crashing
-blow up tranny, rearend and drive shaft in race car....

Matt
-done slapping the wall

I think the only thing that went good that night was the dinner at Jack in the Box on the way home. However, someone started preaching to FordPny that his life would be saved if he gave him a dollar. [Smile]

Its heads up all night, whoever is next to you is who you run.

Hey Jon, looks like you got the Mach fixed after the accident huh. What all do you have done to it other than the Procharger? I hope Shaun and Evan can make it out also.

It's basically as-is from when I bought it. It has literally every bolt-on (LT's, plenum, TB, gears, etc), so it will be nice to try something different. I'll trailer it up, just for you folks that I KNOW are going to break. We'll start the bidding for a tow home at "Curly fries and a chocolate-banana shake". [Big Grin]

Gates open at 4pm. I think it will probably last from 4-10pm or so.

Hey CDT, hopefully you and Evan can bring the Stang out. Did you guys end up hooking the Nitrous up or no??

Me and my cousin were pissed! [Mad] It rained for like 30 minutes here in Sac from like 1:45-2:15 and then it stopped and hasn't rained since. They said gates opened at 4pm but racing didn't start until 6pm, so how the fuck are they going to cancel it almost 4 hrs. early? How did they know it was going to keep raining. Oh well i'm just blowing off some steam because we were hella anticipating it [Mad]

Should have came for TNT man. The Air was pretty good man. I got like 4 or 5 runs in and they still gave me a Rain Check!

LOL, we didn't even know we were going until about 10:30 that morning [Big Grin]

Seriously though, about 10 minutes after they called it, the skies cleared up and the weather was fine. [Frown]

Yeah they had to tell us Mustang guys to get off the staging lanes and beat it!

We had the dryest weather and bluest sky of the day just 20 minutes after they called it, lol...

Haha! Yeah that was classic. Everyone else had got the hint and left, but noooo. 4 or 5 of us stuborn stangers wouldn't leave the staging lanes, just hoping they might let us run anyway [Big Grin]

here we are refusing to leave, even after they carried the tree away, lol

That was BS how they cancelled so early. My dad's shop is maybe 10 minutes from there and i called after the rain stopped and it still said it was cacelled. You're right though the skies got hella blue and the sun even poked its way out so me and my cousin drove up there just to see if maybe they would re-open for the good weather. The gates were still open so we drove around looking for someone to argue with [Big Grin]

I got 8 passes at the last CMI rice event...

The forecast was not good that day however, so a lot of the guys traveling from LA and SD didn't show up.

The CMI events are expected to be SAC's biggest turnout. Its a gamble.
