1. Can i run these without Racing Tubes?

2. If i can whats a good PSI to have in them?

3. What is an "ideal" RPM to launch @ with the setup in my sig?

some key notes... built 31 spline solid axle, stock control arms, 3.73 gears, 2.76 pulley, and stock clutch.

oh yeah, and what kind of times do you guys forsee me getting? i'm going to throw a little octane booster in there, i always do before track time.

oh damn forgot about those! sorry my mods are a 2003 cobra with a 2.76 pulley, stock clutch, upr catless x-pipe, magnaflow catback, 3.73 gears, short throw, and steed cai. i'm probably around 450-465 RWHP.

You better walk it out of the hole. Dump it on a stock clutch, you better have AAA towing. [Wink]

what he said. ignore the guy saying dump it at 6k.

A simple riding of the clutch at 2k or so should be plenty to net you consistent low 1.6s and 1.5s.

In my 03 I found that flashing the clutch at 2500 worked the best. BTW loose the octane booster, that stuff is garbage and should not be used. Run quality pump gas or race fuel ONLY!

Maybe with the sticky tires and stocker clutch in ....it will just automatically slip and not break anything hehe.

I'm sure you could be a bit more agressive with the stick axle....but i still would not drop it right off the line [Eek!]

with th power you make if your clutch is in good shape, you should be fine. try dumping it at around 5000-5500. worked for me just fine. i burn my clutch even more when i slip it.
