Damn Evan...car is really haulin. I just looked at my 10.85 time slip from my old maroon car and saw that I was at 100mph in the 1/8 and only 122 in the 1/4. Your car picks up a hell of a lot in the second half of the track. Good shit man!

thanks Greg! i'm not trying to make excuses either but we got a shitty centerforce dual friction clutch and it slips BAD, we got it on video, we got a few videos actually, so were gonna put a real tranny and clutch in it soon hopefully. the car should do 10.60s 10.70s 0n the motor.

we made 1 change to the motor, 1.7s, its a little under cammed, so the 1.7s helped pretty good. we just put down 390 on are mustang dyno with a bad clutch, previously was 381. so were doin alright.

I was there for the 10.86 pass, Evans car is very quick. Hurry and throw that new clutch in, so you can get to the track and go FASTER!!!!

For comparison the last time we weighed the wife's 91GT:
3050 with 1/2 tank gas & no driver, draglites all around.
I'd like to get hers to 2840lbs! Too bad she won't let me remove such things as the A/C, PS, anything in the interior, etc....
I think I have her talked in to a fiberglass hood though!
Too bad a cage has to go in it....

atleast the hood will offset a little of the weight

At this point it seems that it costs $$$ to remove weight (hood, K-member, etc) & it costs $$$ to add weight (Cage)! I can't win!

you could accidentally hit one of the ac lines with a saw-zall and then have to take it out since refridgerant is so expensive

I finally took mine out after i blew my 4325436523th high pressure a/c line that runs next to the passenger side header. This was with the old 302/12.4 setup

well hopefully if the clutch and transmission hold up, we can add 25lbs to the back of it.

Ditto...and do you really need that power steering pump? No time to get to the gym...just go out and do some 3 point turns.

Booooo!
Just take 30 out of the front of it

but if you add 25 to the back it might go a second faster..

Well....the power steering pump is leaking. I may be able to talk her into a manual rack.
As for the A/C......there's no way she'll let me remove it. Damn thing blows COLD.....which is really nice give the 03Cobra's leather/suade seats & 100+ degree weather driving in trafic to a CaFords car show!
