I know Craig already posted about the trip up to Sears point so i won't jack his thread and will post my results here.

I'll post mine first and give you the scoop on the DSM that are in SteedaGT's thread.

We only ran twice and left so nothing too special...but i did finally get this thing to hook hard out of the hole.

11.60 @ 120.9 mph 1.70 60'

I can now get the car off the line but i need to work on shifting the car faster to get my trap speed up some.....i'm just too chicken-shit to break anything [Razz]

As for my friends:
Black 2G - 11.6 @ 126 mph 1.7 60'
Grey 2G - 11.5 @ 125 mph 1.7 60'
Grey 1G - 12.5 @ ? (car was knocking and pulling lots of timing) so we'll get it fixed and be back out.

Great #s with that MPH there is definately room for lower ET's congradulations. [patriot] Did you get different tires on the car? Did they kick you off the track for not having a roll cage?

Yup.....new MT DR's did the trick to get the car hooked up and no luckily no warning about the bar....however my buddy in the light grey DSM got the warning as he flirt around w/ a couple 11.5x's

I think i can get the car even harder off the line w/ a little less tire pressure and track prep similar to yesterday's except my clutch is really not liking the power along w/ the hook as it slipped pretty good the first run which i missed 3rd but still ran it out to a 12.05 @ 115.6 mph 1.79 60'

Its been over a year since I have been to infenion so let me get this straight, you dont need a roll cage on a hard top till 11.49? and then they move you out of the street crowd into that comp lane or whatever it is lane #1 I think?

SmokinLX, the cage rule is now 11.49 and under, but you can still run in the street class on a Wednesday. On the weekend, you can run the trophy class or some Pro class.

Lol no prob bro

As for the rules it's great they lowered the time to 11.49 as there are soo many cars driven to the track that can lay down an 11.xx pass now-a-days.

We were joking around after my buddy's first 11.57 pass about hearing it from the lady at the booth and after his next pass 11.53 she made sure to remind him [Frown]

Well i don't think they have another event besides Wed Night Drags (correct me if i'm wrong) but i work until 6pm Mon-Thur [Frown]

Also as you mentioned it was my first time back for me as well to Infineon since they changed over about 2-3 yrs at least........and now i remember why i actually suffer the longer drive to Sac.

It's almost like Infineon is SOOO big now it doesn't have that "homey" feeling to it anymore.
