Who in Northern California would be interested in renting a drag strip for a day?

Well, LightningLarry (From SVTP) and I have been discussing an all SVT GTG at Sacramento raceway park. To rent the track for 5 hours it would cost $5000. Although this seems like a large sum of money, if we got 50 cars, and $100 a racer, it would work out fine. We have not set a date or a time or anything like that, we are just trying to see who would be interested before shelling out $5000. So if you are interested, and think you could afford it, please let us know so we can hopefully make this happen!!!

Are you only allowing SVT cars and trucks or will you let little GTs be a part of this as well? Right now there are between 10-15 of us with GTs that are trying to set something like this up. LMK. Thanks, Justin.

Sweet, well we are looking at almost 40 cars or so right now... We are getting close, but we need everybody to ask all their friends, because if this does go down, spectators will get in for free, and it should be one hell of a race day! Guaranteed atleast lik 12 runs, considering 50 cars, and 5 hours of fun!!!

How are you gonna collect payment? Paypal or something secure like that. If you keep it secure you can probably fill the 50 no problem.

The poblem with that is paypal takes a piece of every payment. Mark and I would have to make that up to complete the $5000.

Me and Larry are still working on that. Even though paypal is secure, we loose a little bit of money off each transaction, so that wouldnt work. We will figure it out, dont worry!!!!

Good idea Drew. Or lets have a GTG a month earlier and bench race, and make payments(I love to talk a little before we get to the track). Then we can all meet and make payments.
