HAHA...alright J i know a couple of my other friends heading up however i may not be able to [Mad]

Plus i don't think there is much point in still running on these stock F1's [Roll Eyes]

Are you going for sure?

well you know when you take a drive in your car and it just seems to be running really well that day? I've had one of those days. I'm not sure if I'm 100% as I've not brought it up with my wife, I never remember if we have plans. Its like a $100 day when you add up gas, raceing, food but thought if people were going I'd see if I can tag along in my slow ride

I'm thinking about it... I really want to get new times before I swap the stock block for the CHP 331.

I went....& broke!
The only clean pass I had was this:
1.739 60ft
11.123 @128.37mph

Next run netted a 1.577 60ft! [Eek!]
But I missed 3rd (twice) & ran 11.90 @122mph

Next run was a 1.633 60ft.
As I shifted into 3rd the driveshaft broke at the rear u-joint. D'oh!

Bummer nice time's. make sure and check your bell housing and tailshaft housing realy close for cracks. It is very comman on drive shaft breaks. Might get it into the 10's
still won't be enough...LOL [Wink]

Good stuff Shaun! I'd planned on taking mine out, only to find a caliper hanging up on the right rear...and a SERIOUSLY grooved rotor. [Frown]

You itch for a lil drama anytime you can, don't ya 2stangs? [Razz]

I need rotors too! My front ones are warped from those 'high speed' stops.

2-stangs, I do believe I just beat your best. Tag, you're it. [Razz]

I predict that 2stangs will be at the track 1-2 weekends after football is over [Wink]

Just a guess [Big Grin]

shaun your car was rippin man! my buddy and I rolled up for a few passes.....his 04 cobra ran a few 12.0/12.1's and one 11.90 pass on radials.....not bad for bein way down on power compared to most pullied/exhaust/intake cobras!! and there was so many loud/annoying/stupid/worthless imports screwin everything up.....kinda sucked but whatever

One of these days I may scrounge up enough $$$ to buy the adjustable actuators....of course I don't think the Eagle SIR rods can handle much more....nor the rest of the car by the looks of things.
The driveshaft didn't break...nor did the U-joint. The aluminum around the U-joint ovaled. Apparantly the power & weight was too much for the aluminum DS. I'm throwing in a stock Steel unit this week. But that still leaves me with stock axles. [Frown]

Heather's new motor has a few 'bugs' as well. My week looks to be pretty busy!

Jayl, nice seeing you & Rory out there. 11.90 is a kick-ass time for a true daily driver!
