I had to leave before his 2nd run due to alternator trouble and couldn't get any of my other friends lined up to shoot the run. Just checking if any of you guys did.

Rocky said it was a partial run at 8.3@179mph or so?

well that celica isnt bad ass, here look at this video of john force run a 4.57 at 330mph, now what [Roll Eyes] [Roll Eyes]

Look at how the Celica is setup, it has the same suspension and chassis setup as pro 5.0 cars, also it isn't a forced induction built up V8, it is an inline 6 making about 1700hp. Also, John Force doesn't run a Ford engine anyway.

if we play it in fast forward it might be the same thing LOL. Rocky's car is bitchin. He isn't just a rich kid gone racing. Rocky and his brother work towards keeping the Nova going and it is awsome.

Where did I say the Celica has a Ford engine. It's the 2JZ Supra engine.

Sorry ya'll. I didn't mean to start a battle of whos friend's penis is bigger or anything. I just wanted to see if anyone had footage of the run [Smile]

Rock is a nut but that car launches 10times better now than back in the day when it was in the low 9's with no wheelie bar. It used to just stand up, scrape the asphault with the bumper and trip 1.2 60's with the rear tires. LOL

I think what most people respect about Rocky and Lee is not that the car is the coolest thing out there but that they have worked their asses off with no sponsors for the last 10yrs that I have known them and still managed to do well despite breakage.

Some of the ghetto rigged stuff they have done to that car to finish a race amazes me. Moutntain Dew catch cans, Pepsi Can transmission shims, faucette pipes used in places you would never imagine on a motor. [Eek!] LOL
