get a set of drag radials put on a set of 10 holes and just put them on for the track, will drop the 60' below a 2.0 and will get u i9nto 13's without any more mods

and dr's arentthat hard on everything

I would still favor ET Streets at your HP level for that 13.x timeslip vs. a drag radial, if you don't want to break your axles don't leave higher than 4500 rpms and if you have trouble spinning drop the tire pressure to about 10-12 PSI and do a decent 10 second burnout.

sounds like a one bad luck incident to me....+ the spec two is a pretty cool clutch... I run a centerforce dual friction and can powershift / launch on e.t. streets all day long [Confused] ?

Also, reaction time has nothing to do with getting a better e.t., only matters if your racing someone or bracket racing...

address your traction issues and driving skills before more mods. If your spinning bad now more h.p. is not gonna solve your problem.

i might be a dumbass for asking, but ohwell...what exactly is powershifting [Confused]

Posted by SIKKSTANG (Member # 1210) on :

Powershifting is when you shift without lifting your foot off the gas. Jus keep it pinned to the floor and hit the clutch and shift, you gotta do it fast or you might miss a gear. Good Luck practice makes perfect

can a stock clutch handle powershifting [Confused]

Posted by SIKKSTANG (Member # 1210) on :

yup

Posted by 1Sicgt (Member # 714) on :

But if I am correct, you can fuck up synchros, and the clutch in time, by doing it.

Posted by SIKKSTANG (Member # 1210) on :

well I only powershift when I race and and at the track and that's really not too often
