"Sal's Speed Shop: Mustang Drag Day 7" will be on Sunday, February 22nd.
http://www.salsspeedshop.com/message/viewtopic.php?t=82
The "GT Challenge Lane" will be open to 96+ GTs that are N/A. Everyone will race off of a .400 Pro Tree. Follow the link above for all the info.
There will be several, "GT Challenge" competitions throughout the year. At each individual event participants will be awarded points based on how they place. At the end of the year the person with the most point will be awarded "GT Challenge Champion", be given a prize (last year, they gave out JBA headers, but this year there will be an even better prize awarded) and possible media coverage. Prize T.B.A.
I was the 2003 GT Challenge Champion. I wonder if I will get any competition this year?

If that video is from Palmdale- then his car would run as much as 4-5 tenths faster at Sac.

My best ET at Palmdale has been 13.3 @ 100.
I would be down to race Mark, but I am more interested in racing Mark's GT with Drew behind the wheel.
I will be down to do it sometime in March. That is when I will drive to Sac.

Not gonna happen. I ran 12.7 in my car. Until you can come close I wont even bother racing you.

13.3 @ 100 MPH?
I'm not normally one to stay stuff like this, but, you can't hang bro.
That is unless you have changes in store that you aren't mentioning.

Joe-stang,
Your post here makes you seem pretty cocky, and your times are well off Bunchmyfunky's. Still, I went on the Wildhorses website & found the page about your car. Kind of interesting. To compare the two cars, it looks like you don't have quite as many bolt-ons, but put a little money into suspension. I'd guess you're launching pretty good, but I'd also figure on trap speeds higher than 100 mph, given your mods. Seems way too low. Even so, I saw your post about coming up to Sac Raceway before too long, and I wouldn't mind seeing your car run. Let us know when you decide to come. I do think you'll find that your car will be faster here than at LACR, but I don't think you'll find yourself faster than all of our locals.

We will see what happens when I am there in March.
I already have a race setup against a modded LS1 who lives somewhere in NorCal.
My only concern is that I don't drive up there to only to have it rain.
