I am new here, but not new to drag racing fords! Now that I have beefed up my tranny, and have ordered my chip, I will want to run my Mark VIII at Infineon when the Wed. night "SPORT DRAGS" starts up.

I have a "baseline" already.(4 passes, best e.t. 15.07 @ 94.48 MPH. The chip should get it running appox 14.50's. I will have it by march.

I was wondering how many of you are "wednesday night regulars"? And for those that are, let me know what you drive(yr/color), and I'll keep an eye out for you there. I woulndt mind knocking off a few time runs with you guys in "street" before elims. start. I hate lining up next to 'friends"... its such a shame to send them home!!!

Let me know guys!

Thanks for the invite. but I try to stay away from Inferior raceway

You should bring the Lincoln up to Sacramento

If it'll run 14.5x on a Wednesday night at Inferior, then it will easily run a 14.2x @ Sac

Tinner... yes... I will be there this sunday.

Everyone else.. I live in Santa Rosa.. I agree about sac, but I am pretty sure I wont drive past Infineon raceway, on my way to sac, in my street car.(just not worth it.... its a daily driver, not a muscle car )

Anytime I do any mods, I like to run it down the strip to get "real time" results. If my buddy is towing his 9 sec car to sac, i may follow, and run a bracket, but definately wont go all the way there for some "numbers" on my street car.

Sac does produce better e.t.'s though(and the 60 ft's are phenominal at sac,, compared to infineon)

Yeah the 60ft's are a lot better, it helps when the boxes on the track are actually 50feet away [Wink] J/k Sac is really underated, its an awesome place to race man!

We need a damm track somewhere in the bay area.. Why not somewhere in Francisco? LOL Lets all email Arnold and tell him if he wants to stop street racing or cut it then he needs to build one in the bay area that is open friday, saturday and sunday nights !! [patriot]

The only problems I have with sac are... the left lane isnt very fun at 124 mph in the wind.

And the return road isnt very friendly at 10:00 at night in a 10 sec car with poor headlights!

I totally prefer Sac for the first 600 feet of track!!!

But in sac's defense, the fact that they actually use the facility almost every week for races, and they actually have a "test-n-tune" night... makes it great for locals to head out, and get off the damn streets.

Infineon doesnt care a whole lot about their bracket racers.
