Got 11 runs in today 6 of them were 13.0s the other 5 were 13.1 and 2s. The car was launching good but I couldn't get it to 60ft very well. Check out these two runs.

1.83
82.416
10.919
13.086@104.478

1.78
82.853

13.008@105.118

I was either bogging or spinning I couldn't find the happy medium. Oh well there's allway's next time. Here's a couple of pics

HAHA The one time I decide not to go to the track is one of those days you could get tons of runs in. Its a jinx. Anytime I don't go its guaranteed that you guys will get 10 runs in at least. lol

If he could get the thing to launch better than a 1.9xx than he would be in the 12's [Razz]

His car has been down the track many times before with the skinnies on it. Problem is, the skinnes he uses are now my "street" tires, so they aren't as easy to get from me [Wink]

what's the combo on the blue LX?

Posted by 2stangs69-91 (Member # 1951) on :

Blue LX combo: Sat was the first time with the new 5 speed. I was having a little Difficulty with a few things at first and asked Mark for a few tips.(been racing auto's for along time)and he gave me some good tips. Engine 155,000 short block, GT40X heads, E-cam, 1.7 rockers,Trickflow streetheat intake 24 lb injectors ,Explorer TB, 75mm optimizer mass air. Pullies, Mac egual-length shorties,x pipe. I built a Gforce T-5 trans(street gear set) spec stage 1 clutch. Pro 5.0 shifter. I have 4.10 gears in it I put them in there for the AOD POS I just pulled out. And Nitto Drag radials. I could sure use some ET streets. I have my E-cam advanced 4 degrees for use with the old auto,I think I am going to roll it back. I was happy with my first day trying out the new 5 speed. I will get better. sorry you asked LOL BTW the only thing off the car is the front swaybar I raced it how I drove it down from Redding.
